Big HEART for ALL Animals!
I have extensive pet sitting and house sitting experience. Not only are our pets our companions; they’re our family. It’s important for me to earn the trust of my client - YOU - because you’re allowing me to spend time with your beloved pet(s)! That’s a win win for the both of us! I genuinely adore animals of all kinds and I take my responsibility as their caretaker or nurturer very seriously. -DOGGO EXPERIENCE: Many different breeds, shapes, sizes. Some with special needs. I’ve worked with clients, both known and unknown, as well as family and friends who all are more than willing to provide more in-depth references on me, if you so desire. Experience with long term care of large pit bull that needed training assistance in Arizona. I also housesat and petsat for a family with a large Weimaraner who had special needs (nervous problems especially) in Kalamazoo, Michigan that I had to be extra sensitive and mindful to. (Each of these families both kept me on for multiple years, depending on my location at the time.) CATS (very experienced and skilled with cats - my knowledge of them is above and beyond, as I have 2 of my own myself, both rescues.) (2) Rabbits - one was my roommates; the other belongs to a very close friend and her Husband. I am experienced feeding them and I have knowledge of their temperaments and needs. Reptile experience: 2 Snakes (I am not comfortable feeding them mice, however, sorry about that, but I am experienced with humidifying their environments and checking up on them - fearlessly!) Brandy has a huge heart for animals and cares for them all as if they were her own. Our dogs have adored her since the minute they met her and we always feel great knowing she is caring for them when we are out of town. Our dogs are our children and Brandy is always so kind and loving with them!
I don’t know anyone who loves animals more than Brandy does. She has an enormous heart and cares for her pets as they are her children. She is empathetic, compassionate, and kind - and I’m certain that any pet in her care would be in the best of hands.
Whenever I go out of town, Brandy always helps me with Winston. Brandy is responsible, attentive, and communicates extremely well. She is always sure to send me a funny picture of my guy and makes my moments away from him a little bit more bearable. Thanks, Brandy!
Brandy is such an animal lover! I've known her for many years and have witnessed her care for many, many peoples' pets in that time. I have to say, being around animals has got to be one of her favorite things to do. She's always taken great care of our chihuahua, Rocky. I highly recommend her!

Schedule
My Mom passed away last summer and I decided to move back home to Michigan and take a year off to tend to my Father, being that I’m an only child and he’s my only family left. I am grateful to be back home in Michigan, and I’d like to utilize my free time wisely - pet sitting / house sitting / spending time with animals brings me peace and joy! My career consisted of a tremendous amount of safety and security tasks. I am a reputable individual with drive and passion and I love connecting with people. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies!!!

I am available in the greater West Michigan area. If you are not in Kalamazooo, I am more than willing to travel to you for a small fee, depending how far it takes for me to drive to you. I want you to be at comfort and ease while you’re away, so I always ask for a little note about your expectations of me, your pet(s) feeding schedule, walking schedule and typical routes, what is ok/not ok in regards to (being on the furniture, offering treats, jumping on people - I don’t mind being jumped on at all by a cute dog, but if that’s something you’re trying to train your dog NOT to do, please note that, for example, so I can contribute to your training rather than mess it up. My home is open to dogs (only one at a time) who are OK being around my cat, Oliver. He has been acclimated with dogs.. and I would typically keep them separated if you want me to watch them in my home. I have an apartment, and we have a nice dog park.. but do keep in mind; I might have to fluctuate your fees depending on what adjustments I may need to make to my home or lifestyle to accommodate your pet in my home temporarily! In your home, I am very respectable and trustworthy (with plenty of references so you feel comfortable). I don’t mind doing light cleaning while I am in your space, I always clean up after myself and your pet while you are away. Again, any expectations of me? Just inform me! :)

A typical day
I love to be active. I love to relax. I will be happy to exercise your dog(s) according to your typical schedule and suggested activity. Walking routinely is a favorite of mine! I am also willing to travel to the dog park. I have one at my residence, and there are a few nice ones in Kalamazoo that I have access to. This would require your permission for me to take your pet in my vehicle.
