Hello, I'm Brandy, thanks for visiting my profile to learn more about what I can offer you and your pets. I have 5 pets in my home. Blue, my rescue German Shepard/Husky dog. Blue has 4 cats 🤣- Husky, Bodhi, Leo & Karma. We enjoy life in the country. Walks by the river and in the woods, fetch, birdwatching, and couch cuddling are some of our favorite hobbies together. My experience with animals is personal and professional. I have been a pet and house sitter for over 20 years. I grew up on a farm where pets and farm animals were always treated with deep care and respect. I've cared for exuberant puppies, elder pets that needed additional consideration for their health concerns and a vast range in-between. Animals have always been a central part of my life and I couldn't imagine life without them. I will care for your pet as if they were my own. Also, I'll work diligently to create trust with them (and you) and show them the love and attention they deserve as cherished members of the family. My degree field is in Environmental Health & Safety from Ferris State University, which I have used to help create and maintain safe work environments. This makes me keenly aware of my surroundings and able to evaluate situations quickly for the health of others (as well as your pets). I am pet CPR and first aid certified. Also, I'm independently insured for pet sitting in addition to Rover's pet coverage. I bake natural pet treats, make my dog's food from scratch and create pet toys and beds to donate to our local rescue community. My hobbies include cooking, gardening, yoga and meditation, and spending quality time with my family, friends and my pets. In addition to pet sitting professionally, I am self employed as a notary public. Because of my flexible routine, I am able to create my schedule as needed to accommodate pet sitting and care easily. The safety and care of your pets is my utmost priority. I am well versed in assessing the safety of environments and act accordingly to ensure every measure is taken to provide your pet with a safe and happy space. We will discuss your home and neighborhood in detail so that I am aware of any concerns you may have and will create the best plan for their care and safety.

I appreciate a walk through of your home where we can discuss their normal routine, where their treats/medications are kept, and to create a file for my records. Including things such as their vet's contact information, allergies & other health concerns, pet preferences for favorite hobbies and best feeding/walking schedule, and to schedule best times to check in with you during pet stays or drop Ins.

Brandy was great! Provided an update with both animals on each visit and even visited twice before to make sure our dog felt more comfortable while we were away. Would definitely recommend!

Brandy was everything we could ask for and more! From the moment we met she was professional, timely and friendly! She walked us through everything and made us feel very prepared and comfortable! Daily updates and open communication made our travels stress free knowing that our fur baby was being well loved and cared for. When we came home, it was as if no one had been there all week! Brandy even took the time to water my plants and care for our pool in our absence! Selfishly, I don’t want to share this review because we want to keep her a secret! ? if I could give 10 stars I would!
Brandy made me feel very comfortable leaving my dogs for the weekend. She came to meet the dogs and go over the routine, which set my mind at ease. My 3 dogs were well taken care of and comfortable in their own home. She even gave the cats attention and treats. I would definitely recommend Brandy and will be booking with her again.
