Love your kitty while you’re away
Hey there, fellow cat parent! 😺 We all dream of that getaway—whether it’s a beach week, family visit, or just some well-deserved “me time”—but the second we think about leaving our cats behind, the guilt kicks in. Taking them along usually isn’t an option, so what’s next? I’ve been there. I’ve dropped my own cats off at those big pet hotels and walked away feeling… off. The staff would scoop them up, plop them in a kennel, and that was it. No extra snuggles, no playtime, no “Hey, how’s my buddy doing?” vibes. It felt like they were just checking a box, not loving on someone’s family member. After one too many of those experiences, I started asking a friend to swing by the house once a day. It was better than the hotel—sort of—but let’s be real: friends mean well, but they don’t always stick to the exact routine, scoop the box the way you like, or give the level of attention your cat craves. That’s exactly why I started this. No more impersonal kennels where your cat just sits and waits. No more crossing your fingers that your friend actually shows up and remembers the wet food. Instead, your cats stay in a cozy, home-like space with someone who genuinely gets it—another total cat-obsessed human who will give them chin scratches, play laser pointer Olympics, talk to them like the little royalty they are, and make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away. You get to travel with peace of mind. They get pampered like the VIPs they are. Win-win. 💕 Ready to give your crew the vacation they deserve (while you enjoy yours)? Let’s chat!

On a typical day I’m up early (around 6–7 am) to start with quiet cuddle/check-in time, fresh water, breakfast for everyone, and litter box / potty clean-up so the space stays spotless and comfortable right from the start. Throughout the day I split time between: • Play & exercise sessions (morning and late afternoon are favorites — fetch, tug, wand toys for cats, short walks or yard zoomies for dogs) • Plenty of calm hang-out time (I work from home most days, so there’s almost always someone nearby for pets who prefer company or just want to nap in a sunbeam) • Midday feeding/treats/snack breaks, more potty/litter attention, and individual one-on-one love — brushing, ear scratches, belly rubs, whatever each pet enjoys most Evenings wind down with dinner, another short play or walk, final potty break, and cozy bedtime routine so everyone settles feeling safe and loved. I keep groups very small (usually just 2–4 pets at a time, often from the same family or carefully matched personalities) so I can give real, focused attention instead of rotating through a dozen kennels. No one gets lost in the shuffle here. Weekends follow a similar flow but with a bit more flexibility for longer play sessions or lazy movie days with the crew. Bottom line: your cat or dog isn’t just “boarded” — they’re part of the day’s rhythm, getting the kind of consistent love, routine, and attention I give my own pets. That way you can relax knowing they’re happy, not just waiting for you to come home

How do I care for pets in my home (or yours)? I prioritize a safe, low-stress, home-like setting where your cat or dog feels secure and truly cared for — because I know how much they mean to you. In-home boarding at my place (your pets come stay with me): • Small groups only (typically 2–4 pets max, often from the same family or with very compatible personalities) so everyone gets individual attention and there’s no overcrowding or chaos. • Fully pet-proofed spaces with cozy beds, hiding spots for shy cats, toys, scratching posts. • Temperature-controlled indoor areas, fresh water always available, and daily deep cleaning of litter boxes / potty areas. • Constant human presence — I live here and work from home most days, so pets aren’t left alone for long stretches like in big facilities. In-your-home pet sitting / drop-ins (I come to your place): • Your pets stay in their own familiar environment — same smells, same routine, same favorite couch spot — which reduces stress dramatically, especially for anxious or senior pets. • I follow your exact instructions: feeding schedule, walk times/lengths, medication, special treats, play preferences, even which lights to leave on. • Thorough home checks: I make sure doors/windows are secure, no hazards, and everything stays just as you left it. • Daily updates with photos/videos so you can see your crew relaxing, playing, or napping happily. Whether your pets are with me or I’m with them, the goal is the same: they feel loved, safe, and comfortable — not just “boarded.” No big kennel stress, no strangers rotating through, just genuine care from someone who truly adores cats and dogs. Peace of mind for you, happy tails (and purrs) for them. 💕🐾
