I have had cats and dogs my whole life, haven’t yet met an animal that didn’t like me. I have experience with difficult dogs, nervous and overly excitable fur missiles. I’m willing to work with them as long as I feel safe to do so but im not a trainer, I don’t know how to make them unlearn bad behaviors and learn good ones.

I don’t currently have my own home, I live with others so I’m unable to board pets. It tends to be less stress anyways for the pet to stay home where they are in a familiar environment. Unless they have a rigid routine involving sleeping in your bed with you, and won’t go to bed otherwise, I tend to stay on the couch.

Brandon has a calm, soft-spoken demeanor, and that quality clearly carries over into the way he cares for pets. Over the past two years, Brandon has cared for and walked two of my dogs—both around 70 pounds—but with very different personalities. The first was Toby, a laid-back 12-year-old who just wanted affection, cuddles, and help taking his medication (he has sadly since passed). For the past year, Brandon has also worked with my 2-year-old pit bull rescue, Gunner, who is energetic, stubborn, and previously difficult for other walkers to manage. Past walkers struggled to control him and unintentionally allowed him to assume the “alpha” role. Brandon’s calm, confident demeanor has had a remarkable effect on Gunner—he is noticeably more relaxed and well-behaved during their time together, and I’m continually impressed by the bond they’ve developed. Brandon is truly the only person I trust to care for Gunner—not just for walks, but to stay in my home and pet-sit for days at a time while I travel for work. He is completely trustworthy, dependable, respectful of your property, and will take exceptional care of your pet.

Schedule
Right now I don’t have a regular full time job, I have been searching and applying but no offers as of yet. I have no kids or pets of my own so I’m available at nearly any time, from drop-in visits to overnight sitting. I understand letting a stranger into your home is unsettling, I don’t take it for granted and I’ll do my best to respect your home and pets.
