I also want to know how they interact with people and other animals—whether they’re friendly, shy, or need extra patience. Knowing their triggers, fears (like loud noises), or habits helps me avoid stress and keep them comfortable.
A typical day
I like to keep pets active, happy, and comfortable while they’re in my care. For dogs, I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, or just letting them run around and burn off energy. I also spend time giving them attention—petting, brushing, or just sitting with them so they feel safe and not alone. For cats, I like to use toys like string, laser pointers, or small balls to keep them entertained, and I always make time for cuddles if they’re the affectionate type. I also pay attention to each pet’s personality—some are more playful, while others just want a calm environment and companionship. Overall, I make sure every pet gets the right mix of exercise, fun, and relaxation so they stay happy and stress-free while their owner is away.
