Hi! Welcome to Safe Haven Pet Sitting! I’m a lifelong pet lover who’s always had animals by my side. Growing up with pets gave me a deep appreciation for their companionship and care needs. Today, my two kids, who are very experienced and wonderful with animals, work right alongside with me. Together, we make a caring, reliable team you can feel great about welcoming into your home. We have three dogs of our own, so daily pet care is a big part of our lives. We truly understand the routines, patience and love that animals need. Whether your pet loves cuddles, long walks, calm companionship or upbeat playtime, we are here to give them a safe and loving experience while you are away. We treat every dog like family and would love to care for yours like one of our own.

We care for pets in their own home, where they are most comfortable. We follow their normal routines. Since we have three dogs of our own, we understand how important consistency is and we make sure every pet feels safe, relaxed and cared for while their family is away.

We do not recommend this sitter. The care provided to our dogs did not meet even basic expectations, and multiple critical instructions were not followed despite being clearly explained during the meet-and-greet. Our dogs’ required feeding routine was ignored, which resulted in one of our dogs becoming visibly unwell after being given unrestricted access to the wrong food. Visit durations were consistently below Rover’s stated 30-minute minimum, based on recorded timestamps, raising serious concerns about whether essential care—feeding, outdoor time, and supervision—was properly completed. We also returned home to multiple indoor accidents and a strong odor of urine, which is extremely out of character for our two well-trained dogs and indicates they were not given adequate time outside. Communication throughout the stay was minimal and did not include meaningful updates about our dogs’ condition. We selected this sitter based on the expectation of reliable, attentive care. Based on our experience, that standard was not met. We strongly advise other pet owners to proceed with caution.
Ashley did a great job with the pups. They were well cared for.
Ashley was wonderful with our 5 animals while we were away! Everything went so smoothly, and our pets were happy and content when we arrived back home. I highly recommend her for overnight pet sitting. Communication was great as well!

Pet care naturally fits into our routine. We already care for three dogs daily, so feeding, walks and playtime are a normal part of our day. Adding client visits is an easy and enjoyable extension of what we do already. Your pets simply become part of our pet loving routine.
