Pet care experience

No Ruff Times

Hi, I’m Brandi! I have 15+ years of professional experience working with dogs and cats in animal welfare, including 9 years as a veterinary technician and extensive experience in animal behavior, enrichment, handling, and shelter care. I’ve worked with a wide range of personalities and needs — including puppies, high-energy dogs, fearful or reactive dogs, seniors, medical cases, special-needs pets, and animals recovering from neglect or abuse. I also personally own a special-needs dog, so patience, compassion, and individualized care are incredibly important to me. My background in veterinary and behavioral work allows me to recognize stress signals, safely manage different temperaments, reinforce good habits, and help pets feel secure and comfortable while you’re away. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and providing structured, attentive care tailored to your pet’s needs. I’m currently continuing my education through the Victoria Stilwell Academy with a focus on behavior and training, and I use a calm, fear-free, reward-based approach when working with animals. Whether your pet needs a relaxing walk, structured engagement, extra patience, or just lots of love and reassurance, my goal is always to provide safe, reliable, and compassionate care. Safety, communication, enrichment, and genuine TLC are always my top priorities — I treat every pet like family.

Safety, trust & environment

prioritize creating a calm, safe, and low-stress environment for every pet in their own home where they are most comfortable and familiar. I follow each owner’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, potty breaks, enrichment, and any special instructions. With my background in veterinary and behavior work, I’m experienced in recognizing stress signals, safely handling different temperaments, and adapting care to each individual pet’s needs. I also provide regular communication and photo updates so owners can feel confident their pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for while they’re away.

Drake had a blast with Brandi and her crew and felt right at home. This was very apparent from the pictures she shared. Leaving your pet can be stressful but I can honestly say that without a doubt we will be repeat clients.

Brandi was knowledgeable, communicative, and truly caring towards our pets. She even got our boys gifts for Christmas. She sent pictures of them daily. It was truly comforting to know our pets were in the hands of someone professional and caring.

My first time using a sitter and I couldn’t have made a better choice. Petey had a great time and Brandi kept me updated with pictures and videos. Thanks

The more information on your fur-baby the better. Whether it’s medications, special needs, behavioral concerns (doesn’t like other dogs, cats. Some dogs don’t like to be patted). Safety is the up-most priority.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
