I work full time but I often have time before or after work where the demand for pet sitting would be of its highest, I can be quite flexible with how I work.

I make sure first of all the area is always safe for the pets, make sure they are safe, closing any gates, building higher fences to stop unwanted people/pets getting in, then it’s just on giving the pet my full attention, earning the trust of the pet, teaching them and awarding them when justified and making very clear that I am their friend.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of pets since I was very young, we have always had pets in our house, cats and dogs but even hamsters, parrots, we’ve had them all, I love to be active with pets, my favourite thing to do with pets is to take them on walks, get them outside the house and let them have their leisure time, I think it’s really important. I feel pets often recognise when they can trust a person and this often happens quickly with me which is such a nice feeling, I like to create relationships with animals and to make them know I’m a friend of theirs too.
