Pet care experience

Your Pup's New Best Friend.

I grew up in the country with animals everywhere... my neighbors and I had pets of all breeds and sizes. At home, we had everything from Cairn Terriers and Bostons, to Chocolate Labs and cats. My friends growing up provided an even wider experience of pups, and I often got hired to look after them. I have experience in caring for pets of all ages and sizes, with exposure to senior dog care as well. I'm well-versed in administering medication to pets with special needs- from insulin shots for a defiant cat, to tricking a very intelligent Husky into eating her pills. With a compassionate and patient approach, I'm committed to providing the highest level of care and attention to every pet under my supervision. And lots of belly rubs, of course... If you're looking for a dog walker who will treat your furry friend like family, look no further! Let's talk about your pet, I'm always around to chat to make sure I understand their specific needs, there's nothing more important. You've raised them and you know what's best for them, it's my job to understand and implement those concerns, while making sure they enjoy our time together! My only goal is a happy and healthy Pet, with an even happier Pet Parent!

Brad was kindly able to accommodate my request for a longer walk and took my high-energy pup to her favorite park in a different neighborhood than the one we live in. He followed the specific notes I had for the outing which is much appreciated. We will definitely book with him again!

Medications and specific behavior patterns are most important, of course. And how they interact with strange humans/dogs and how you'd like me to deal with it (ie: "Please just don't let her near other dogs." or "She's very friendly with all dogs and people and she can greet them." Obviously we would go over all of this before our first booking... I've also noticed different Queens and Brooklyn neighborhoods have very different pet etiquette - so being informed about your neighborhood etiquette is important, too. Yes, I'm serious!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
