Services
Bozena can care for
Availability
I mostly cat sit in the morning/late morning. If you need a second visit in one day, I can accommodate one evening visit per day no later than 7pm. I can’t normally visit kitties midday but please contact me as I may have availability for specific days. Minimum booking requirement for new clients: 2 visits and we must do a complimentary meet&greet visit to ensure comfort for both your cat(s) and me. Feel free to contact me even if my calendar says I’m not available. At this time I can visit kitties in Magnolia neighborhood only. I choose to walk or bike rather than use a car whenever possible. I guarantee that I will visit your house even in the winter weather conditions. I cat sit indoor-only kitties. I don't offer every-other-day visits. Building a trusting, engaging relationship that enriches a cat's life is important to me, and that happens through predictable daily interaction. While I can't guarantee every cat will warm up, I have a lot of experience helping even very shy cats feel comfortable and enjoy our time together. I have extensive experience giving cats medication but I give oral meds only to the cats that trust me. If you’re a new client with a cat on a pill given by mouth, please feel free to book introductory visits to ensure your kitty feels comfortable with me handling her/him.

About Bozena D.
Communication
Safety, trust & environment
I adjust my approach to each kitty’s unique personality. I’ll offer cuddles if they crave attention, I’ll keep my distance if that’s what they prefer, although I will make a gentle effort to win over even shy kitties. To connect with cats better I typically spend time as close to their level as possible, so you may see me sitting on the floor. With very shy cats, I like playing soothing cat music to hopefully help them relax.
Information Bozena D. would like to know about your pet
I'd need to know the basics: what they eat, where their litter boxes are, if they take any medications (and for what medical condition), their personality traits (e.g., shy or social), their favorite toys for playtime, and if they have a history of hairball episodes (in which case, having kitchen towels on hand would be helpful), if they have any hiding spots. For the unlikely event of an emergency, l'd also appreciate knowing where the cat carrier is stored or having it readily available by the door.
A typical day
How the visit is structured depends on your instructions, the cat’s personality, and how well we know each other. I typically start my visits by offering some form of affection, if the cat is receptive. I then engage in play, tailoring my approach to each cat's preferences and energy level, although I make an effort to engage even reluctant cats while being mindful of their boundaries - I am always attentive to cats’ body language. Feeding usually follows playtime, but please let me know if you'd prefer a different order. I try to document each phase of my visit with photos (and I promise it doesn’t affect the quality of my interaction with the kitties as I’m very experienced at snapping a photo seamlessly with no disruption).

I love cats!
Pet care experience
Cats are my passion, I love them, I understand them and I respect them. I’m creating this profile because I always feel there aren’t enough cat people on Rover and I want to offer my time and service whenever I can to help kitties and their people. As a highly engaged sitter, I care deeply about the wellbeing of every cat. I find a true joy in interacting with them, enriching their life and ensuring they feel loved and cared for even when their humans are away. Playing with cats to make sure they have at least some entertainment is particularly important to me, and making photos while playing is my superpower! I care about cat “owners” too, so you will always be updated on how your cat is doing after each visit.
Reviews

Bozena is the perfect cat sitter! She sends loads of photos and detailed updates, and my cat obviously adores her which makes leaving him at home so much more bearable. 100000% recommend!

Bozena always takes great care of our cat!

Bozena was fantastic! You can tell upon meeting her that she cares so much for animals and their wellbeing. She did drop in visits to feed and engage our two cats (one with medication). I loved the check-ins and overall communication, and we knew our little ones were in great hands!

Bozena is the best. She really does so much to make my cats comfortable and even has my most shy girl coming out to greet her when she arrives. When I return home, I can tell they have been happy while I’ve been away and that means so much to me. I highly suggest Bozena to care for your fur babies!
