Dog sitting/Airbnb combo
We are a family with 3 boys ages 7-12 who LOVE to dog sit, and we also provide an Airbnb within our home 20 min from Zion for the convenience of being able to stay in the same place as your dog! (Of course you don’t have to stay here for us to watch your dog.) Ask me for the listing if interested. We have a friendly German Shepherd and we have yet to see a dog he doesn’t get along with of any size. He will confiscate and destroy any of your dog’s toys so they are best left behind. 😆 My husband and I both work from home with a very flexible schedule apart from some scheduled meetings. We’re almost always home but once in a while we need to step out for maybe a couple of hours. We are a home to give your dog a loving and safe place to stay and be cared for, but the nature of our lives doesn’t usually allow for strict schedules. As long as you’re good with us doing the best we can, then we will work out great. 😄 We have a fenced yard though it will not keep in escape artists. Dogs mostly stay inside unless they prefer outdoors. We have a gate inside the house at the entryway so that dogs can’t get near the front door. We accept up to 3 extra dogs, so your pup must get along with other dogs. We can give your pup his/her own space if he/she prefers to be alone. They must not have any questionable behavior towards children. Speaking of children, it’s impossible for us to keep things off the floor at all times, so a dog that is always chewing on things left on the floor would not be a good fit. 🤪 We only crate dogs according to the owner’s wishes, and only if necessary in times for the dogs’ safety.

Bonnie and her family were great. They met me early in the morning so we could have a full day in Zion national Park. Bonnie sent me several pictures while she was taking care of our little pup.
We couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter! Bonnie took exceptional care of our dog, Abby. She was incredibly reliable and responsive, both before and during Abby's stay, sending regular photos and updates that gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was such a relief to know Abby was in safe, caring hands and getting out for her walks. We highly recommend Bonnie and will definitely book her again!
Bonnie was simply an awesome sitter for our crazy puppy Ranger! Her exceptional care helped us enjoy the nearby parks with total peace of mind. Ranger had such a blast staying with her that he had a happy glow when we picked him up! He hopes to visit again someday :)
Bonnie and her family gave our dog so much love! We appreciated the pictures and videos of Cassie snuggling with her boys. We stayed at her upstairs Air BnB mini apartment which was lovely and a super convenient location for our trips into Zion. I highly recommend leaving your dog with Bonnie and spending the night!
Pepper had a fantastic time with Bonnie! She was happily exhausted at the end of both her days here. Bonnie was great about sending photos and flexible with us not knowing how long we’d be in the park. And the best review of all- when we pulled up to drop Pepper off for her second day of daycare she was super excited to go inside!
Bonnie was available at the last minute to watch our two dogs while we went into Zion. She totally saved our day.

Schedule
My husband works from home and I work part time away from home. We make a great team caring for the dogs! There are times we all step out now and then, but we always strategically separate the dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
All dogs are fed separately and on their schedule. They are allowed everywhere including on furniture, except in our Airbnb upstairs (unless you’re the Airbnb guest!).

A typical day
We have a perfect grass area a block from our house to take your dog to. Let us know if your pup is good to run around off leash or should stay on because it is not fenced in. We also have an (unfinished 🤪) backyard for them to play in!
