I raised my first puppy at the young age of 10, and have been loving and caring for a variety of animals my whole life. During college, I worked as a groomer and kennel assistant at a local boarding facility and gained valuable experience working with a multitude of breeds, ages, and temperaments. My approach to pet care is rooted in positive puppy training, and I bring a gentle and compassionate demeanor to every interaction with animals. My time training Terra and Brody with Wilmington Dog Wizard and Einstein’s Canine College, coupled with the knowledge gained from my oldest and dearest friend who is a veterinarian (just a phone call away), has further enriched my understanding of pet health and well-being. I look forward to extending my expertise and love to your furry friends, ensuring a safe and joyful experience for them in my care.

Bonnie is great and truly cares about your dog. Our dog was well cared for, clean and worn out from lots of play time when we picked her up. We got updates every day as well which was also lovely. I recommend Bonnie to everyone!
Bonnie is by far the best sitter I could have ever asked for! She is such a kind soul that truly loves animals. Her pup Terra was so great with our puppy - they are besties now! Bonnie sent multiple photos and videos every day... I didn't have any of the worry or anxiety I normally do going on vacation. She took them on walks, to the beach, and hikes through the woods. And most importantly, I know she gave our pup ALL the snuggles and affection! 1,000% recommend Bonnie :)
Bonnie is a fantastic sitter and has been extremely flexible for me when needing a last minute drop-in for my dog, Kloe! Bonnie understands how to provide support for timid dogs and has gone above and beyond to ensure that my Shih Tzu/Yorkie is both comfortable and secure in her care. Thank you Bonnie for all you do!

Schedule
While I work full-time during the week, I maintain a consistent schedule seven days a week to ensure my and your animals' well-being. Our daily routine includes ample playtime, kisses, and snuggles. Here's a glimpse into our day: 6:30 am: Backyard Break (15 min) 7:30 am: Walk (30 min) 8 am: Breakfast 12 pm: Backyard Break/Walk (15 - 30 min) 4:30 pm: Walk (30 min) 7 pm: Dinner 8 pm: Backyard Break (15 min) This structured routine, combined with love and attention, ensures a positive and enjoyable experience for your furry friend.

In my home, I prioritize the safety and well-being of every animal under my care. I treat every animal as if they were my own, as I would wish the same for any of my fur babies. I am fortunate to have a fenced-in backyard, providing a secure space for outdoor activities. My two young and playful dogs not only love to engage in fun and energetic play but also understand and respect boundaries. Additionally, I have two cats who typically keep their distance, ensuring a harmonious environment for all. We are also fortunate to live in a pleasant and safe neighborhood surrounded by friendly neighbors. For walks and outdoor adventures, we have access to fantastic walking trails in and around the UNCW campus. Creating a safe, comfortable, and happy environment for your fur family is my top priority.

A typical day
Walks around the quiet neighborhood, UNCW campus, and the beautiful surrounding long leaf pines trails. Special trips to Long Leaf Park, the arboretum, and Halyburton Park.
