Safe, quiet home, fully-fenced acre
Self-identified nature and animal lover, in transition from attorney to chaplaincy and mindfulness meditation teacher. I have cared for dogs for over 20 years, from zoomie puppies to slow-moving seniors. I am comfortable administering medication and feeding whatever combo of kibble+/-wet food your pup enjoys. Belly rubs and nature walks are always on offer. All are welcome here.

Ratings and reviews
Wow! Bonnie was amazing. It was Winston's first time away from home and everything was GREAT! Her communication skills are excellent, she knows a great deal about dogs, was willing to follow our training requests to keep consistent what we do at home. If we could give her 10 stars we would. We knew she would take great care of Winston and he would have a great time with her. Highly recommended.

Excellent gal,Excellent yard!

We are so glad to have found Bonnie. She will be our go-to dogsitter in Taos. Bonnie is kind, organized, and very good at sensing what dogs need. Plus she’s an amazing photographer. The portraits she sent of Peaches are great! Peaches came home a happy and well-exercised dog. Nearby trails plus the huge fenced backyard make Bonnie’s place perfect for dogs.

Bonnie was great! Very communicative and I think our pup had a better vacation than we did!

We could not have asked for a sweeter more conscientious caregiver! She made Roxie feel comfortable and she was great with communicating with us and even sent photos. Our fur baby had a fun day with her new friends!

Bonnie is very personable and took great care of our two dogs! She was willing to take our dogs on short notice and her communication was great! We live out of state, but would definitely use Bonnie’s services again if we were in Taos. Excellent experience.

Schedule
I am home full-time and am able to supervise, care for and play with the dogs throughout the day. We begin each morning with an early one to five mile hike depending on energy levels and weather. The remainder of the day is free time to play, nap, repeat. Meals are usually at 8am and 4pm.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
In our home: Your dog will have free range of our entire home and fully-fenced acre with access to fresh drinking water at all times. There are several dog beds and toys around the house. Our resident pup Poppy is happy to share! Note: My doggie day care rate covers up to six daytime hours (between 8am - 6pm). We can add more time (starting at +$20) so you don't have to rush doing fun human-only activities. Special requests are always welcome.
Pets
A typical day
Our prairie dog town provides nearly endless sniffing, digging, chasing, hunting, and stalking opportunities: all those great enrichment mental and physical activities that keep our doggos healthy and happy. Our resident dog Poppy is nearly always up for a snuggly nap or wrestling session - she lets your dog decide on their level of engagement. Our guest pups also have their choice of back patio snoozing, sunbathing on the soft pasture soil, or taking an indoor siesta... basically they can choose wherever they feel most safe throughout the day.
