Your Pet’s Second Favorite Human

I’ve always had a deep love for dogs and had the honor of caring for my beloved Hershey as she grew older—an experience that taught me so much about patience, empathy, and devoted care. Being her caretaker was one of the most meaningful roles I’ve ever had. Through the years, family and friends trust me with their dogs, knowing I provide more than just physical care—I make sure every pup gets the mental and emotional attention they need to feel safe, loved, and happy.

Drop-In Visits • Dez. 24, 2025

So glad we hired Bonnie to take care of Amy while we were away. Bonnie was very responsive, followed care instructions, and was very reliable. We came home to a happy pup!

Bonnie was fantastic! She took such good care of our senior Pekingese, Raymond. He requires a lot of care and attention due to his medical issues and dementia, and Bonnie was great with him. She also provided frequent updates and cute pics of him. Her pup also got along great with Raymond, and really calmed him down even though he’s usually nervous around other dogs. All in all, a great experience with Bonnie!

Doggy Day Care • Juli 26, 2025

Bonnie was so great with our Kiwi. He was so comfortable and enjoyed his time. It was our first time leaving him so we were a bit nervous. She sent lots of pictures and a video throughout the day which helped. It was good to know he was in good hands. She also helped with an unexpected cancellation of our hamster sitter and was able to sit him as well. Thank you so much for watching them as we had a family day outing at Legoland. We will definitely book again when we are in town.

It’s rare to find someone who makes dogs feel so comfortable, so quickly. Bonnie’s home has this calm, welcoming energy—and dogs pick up on it right away. She’s thoughtful about their needs, whether it’s a longer walk, some quiet time, or letting them hang out with her own dog and kids for social time. Her kids, by the way, are the kind you hope your dog meets: playful, gentle, endlessly enthusiastic. It’s no surprise they keep asking for another dog—every visiting pup becomes part of their world.

Bonnie doesn’t just “watch” dogs—she creates an experience for them. Daily walks, structured playtime, cuddles, and socialization with her own dog and kids—it’s like dog camp, but better. What stands out most is the emotional attention she gives. She’s sensitive to each dog’s energy and adjusts her care so thoughtfully. You can tell she genuinely enjoys every moment. I wouldn’t want my dog anywhere else.

Bonnie doesn’t do the bare minimum—she genuinely enjoys giving dogs a full, happy experience. I’ve seen her plan out little enrichment games, rotate through toys to keep dogs engaged, and even let pups curl up on the couch with her kids during movie nights. It’s more than a service—it’s a second home. And with her kids being as dog-crazy as she is, there’s no shortage of attention or affection. If your dog stays with Bonnie, they’ll come back better socialized, well-exercised, and probably a little spoiled (in the best way).

Schedule

I'm currently not working, which means I get to dedicate my full attention to your beloved pet—alongside my sweet and friendly rescue, Kaiya. We’ll enjoy plenty of walks, visits to the neighborhood dog park, and fun games like hide-and-seek around the house. I also love hiding treats in the backyard for a little extra enrichment and adventure. Your dog will be active, engaged, and cared for all day long! Late Pick-up Policy: Overnight boarding covers a 24-hour period (e.g., 10 AM drop-off to 10 AM pick-up next day). If pick-up is more than 2 hours after that window, an additional daycare fee will be added manually.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day with me and your pup is all about comfort, fun, and feeling at home. We start with a happy hello and some time outside in the yard to stretch, sniff, and play. I follow their pace—whether that means zoomies in the grass or quiet cuddle time on the couch. My 12 and 14-year-old kids absolutely adore dogs and love playing, tossing toys, and giving all the belly rubs your pup could want. We mix in brain games, affection, and follow your pup’s routine closely—meals, naps, and potty breaks included. My own sweet dog is always excited to make a new friend, and together, we make sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, and right at home.

Before caring for your pup, I like to know about any health issues, medications, feeding and potty routines, and how they do with other dogs, kids, and new people. It helps to know their energy level, favorite activities, any fears or triggers, and whether they’re crate trained. I also ask for vet info and an emergency contact—just in case.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
