I enjoy spending time with dogs and cats, to include our adopted southern gentleman named Zeke and our son’s dog who occasionally comes for a visit. We have been doggie parents for over 20 years. All my 3 dogs still hold a special place in my heart despite no longer with us. I have taken care of cats in the past, making sure they are fed, have fresh water and playtime; as well as guinea pigs. Retired with over 30 years federal service, I have time to help with your pet walking and sitting needs, scheduled and occasionally last minute. I’m conscientious with an eye for detail and will make sure that your pet gets the utmost attention during a visit. When minding your pet at your house, my rate is for a 24-hour period. Additional hours past the 24-hours will be charged at the extended stay rate. Also, locations over 10 miles away will incur an additional charge of $15. I don’t mind getting down on the floor to play with your pooch or cat, or throw a ball or stick outside. Belly rubs, and behind-the-ear and back scratches are a specialty! Your dog can help me get in my daily 10,000 steps!
