My name is Bobbie and I have taken care of dogs of different sizes and breeds for the last 23 years. My husband and I have had four dogs together, three of which we still have. Sadly, we had to say good bye to our German Shepherd June of 2019. We own our home and dogs are free to roam the house, including laying on our furniture. We have a fenced in yard so your dog can play outside without the worry of them going off and exploring. My family and I absolutely love dogs and we consider ours as family members. We have six children (under a year,2,5,10, 12, & 15). We have taught our children to respect all animals and don't find ear/tail grabbing, stepping on, etc funny or cute. We don't tolerate that behavior so please know that our children will love and respect your dog or dogs as well. Our children do love helping care for every dog we have in our home. That usually consists of plenty of pets, running around the backyard with them, and tagging along for walks. We will treat your family member like they are our own. We understand that it may be stressful for your dog being in a new environment so we make sure to take the time to help your dog get comfortable. Our family does adapt for each dog we board and sit so they can have the best experience possible while being in our home. We keep our dogs in a separate area until we know that your dog is comfortable and ready. We have experience with senior dogs, dogs that have special needs, puppies, and dogs that have experienced maltreatment. We would love the opportunity to care for your dog. Their energy levels range from low to moderate and they aren't fond of dogs jumping in their faces. Low to moderate energy dogs match their energy levels. Our two older senior dogs have moved themselves into our heated garage. They seem to like the quiet so they may only be around your dog/s for very short periods of time. *Repeat clients, if the calendar is showing that we are unavailable you can still message to see if we can sit/board. Sometimes we take a break but if we know his or her personality and needs already we might be able to still care for them. *Meet and greets are done outside so please prepare for whatever the weather is that day. *For the safety of all dogs if we notice any aggression we will deem the meet and greet not a good fit. *Drop offs happen in the backyard the day of a booking. It makes things go more smoothly, especially if we have other dogs in our home already. Usually clients drop things off on the front porch or bring them straight to the back deck. I'm currently doing one dog walk outside of boarding. Other than my usual dog walking time I am home. Clark is out of the home two days a week and works from home on the other days. I do the majority of the pet care during the day. Clark and I both share responsibility for pet care at night. With me having scheduled dog walks I will have to be gone for short periods of time. Unfortunately if your dog has seperation anxiety and can't be left alone we are not a good fit. We have extra curricular events that we need to be at throughout the year for our children that are in sports and will be gone for games but return right after. We also can't take dogs that are destructive. When it comes to anyone searching for dog walking services, I am very reliable. I am well prepared for the different seasons that we experience in Wisconsin. I will not cancel unless the weather becomes unsafe. Our back yard is fenced to prevent escaping. We make sure dogs are supervised and always have our dogs sleep in a separate gated area when boarding. The safety of every dog in our home is our top priority. *Dogs we board need to be potty trained. We will always consider older dogs that have incontinence issues.
