Pet cottage with fenced yard
I have hosted many cats and dogs before the pandemic. Now that I'm in between jobs I have a lot of time to make furry friends again. I'm also an Airbnb host with over 200+ positive reviews. My first dog was a pick upped stray, the type who rummage for food and whose timid personality can be mistaken for sickness. I picked her up against my parents' wishes, and still remember the black dots roaming through her short brown fur as I first bathed her all those years ago. A similar story was for my other picked up stray cat. Later in her life she developed fatty liver disease and was having jaundiced spots. Through exhaustive research, I nursed her slowly back from the brink back to health after prolonged puking. She enjoyed years more of chasing rabbits and birds thereafter. Interestingly, I'm one of the rare few dog and cat owners who talk less with their pets compared to others. I prefer to observe and respond with gestures and looks, to mean much more than vocal representations. Hidden and tucked away, our pet cottage welcomes dogs and cats to stay. Bo H. is a very chill and responsible person, and my family is so glad that he was available to watch over Finley for a couple of days. His place is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of SF, which helped to keep Finley calm in our absence. Many thanks to Bo, and I can't recommend him enough.

I was fortunate that Bo agreed to watch my 8 month old puppy with only a couple days' notice. He sent daily updates with photos, has a nice indoor and outdoor area, and was flexible about the dropoff and pickup times. Bo's calm demeanor seemed to put my dog at ease, whereas she's normally a bit shy and timid around humans. When I picked her up, it was like I had been gone for a couple hours instead of a couple days. Her manners, energy level, and digestion quickly fell back into her normal routine.
My cat, Annie, stayed with Bo for ten days while my apartment was under construction. He was very attentive to her needs and took care of her so sweetly. Every day, Annie explored the back of the laundromat, the beautiful outdoor space, and the upstairs. She lived the life of luxury, and I'm not sure if she wanted to come back home with me at the end. I especially loved Bo's daily text updates with photos. Bo is awesome and your pets will be in good hands with him.

I have a fully fenced yard with fruit trees. The neighborhood has quiet trails to take walk around. For high energy puppies or those that get lonely I could also invite my upstairs neighbors' very friendly and tame shepherd mix to play.
A typical day
I typically do some cleaning and spend time on the internet. Play with The puppy and go out to a walk before lunch. Right now it's the raining seasons great to take power naps after break
