I work from home full time so I can essentially give 24h attention depending on the care they need. I can usually adjust my schedule around their daily routine and work around it so keeping the routine consistent shouldn’t be an issue.

I prefer overnight stays in the space your pets are most comfortable, ie. their homes. I am very mindful of privacy and maintaining a respectful distance from personal areas and items. I wake up when they need to wake up, I eat when they eat (unless specifically advised not to) and enjoy playing and cuddling with them if they feel comfortable enough to do so. I’ve been staying in client’s homes for over 10 years and have never had a problem!

A good rule of thumb: as much detail as possible! Every pet has specific needs and preferences, so even the smallest things like where they prefer to be pet, if I should stand close/far away while they eat, etc. would be helpful and guarantee a better experience on both sides. I will need to know where leashes, treats, poop bags, toys, litter boxes, etc. will be stored — either written down when I arrive or sent to me ahead of time. If there are any medications please leave written instructions on how they best ingest their meds (do you place it in their food, peanut butter, do they eat it no problem like a treat, etc.
A typical day
Daily activities vary depending on the needs of your pet but overall we love to go outside as much as possible! Try out new walking routes, play games in the yard, snuggle on the floor/couch and laugh out loud!

I’ve been pet sitting for over 10 years, but new to Rover! I’ve worked with cats, dogs, birds and bunnies, comfortable with most sizes and breeds. Right now I spend more of my time pet sitting overnight than I do in my own home 😅 I love it!! I will give your little fluff ball all the attention they need:))
