Responsible Dog Walker in D2
Ever since growing up I’ve always loved being around dogs. Many of my friends and family members have had dogs over the years, so I’ve spent a lot of time around different breeds and personalities. Since living in Dublin, I’ve also had the opportunity to walk my neighbour’s dog, and I’ve genuinely really enjoyed it. Spending time with dogs makes me happy, and one day I’d love to be a dog mum myself! I also think dog walking is such a lovely way to get outside, stay active, and meet other dog owners and people in the neighbourhood. It’s something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to. I’m responsible, caring, and communicative, and I understand how important it is for owners to feel that their dog is safe, comfortable, and well looked after. I’ll always make sure your dog gets plenty of care and affection. :)

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for a dog in someone else’s home, I prioritise their safety and making the pet feel comfortable in their familiar environment and with my own presence. I follow the owner’s instructions around feeding, walks, and house rules. I also pay close attention to the dog’s behaviour and wellbeing to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owner is away.

Blanca was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Galea. She took great care of her and made sure she had enjoyable walks and plenty of attention. Blanca was reliable, communicative, and clearly loves dogs. I felt completely at ease knowing Galea was in such good hands. Galea is a rescue dog and still has some fears and insecurities, so gaining her trust is not always easy. When I had to travel, it meant a lot to see how comfortable Galea became with Blanca, following her around and listening to her, which says everything about the bond they built.

Schedule
I work from home a couple of days a week, which gives me flexibility during lunch time for walks, feeding, etc. I also usually go for a walk at lunch myself, so bringing a dog along fits in naturally. I’m available some evenings during the week and on weekends as well, so I can be flexible depending on the owner’s needs and schedule.
