I don’t offer boarding currently but I will follow whatever safety guidelines you have for your home (ex. If you have a gate, I will make sure it remains closed). And obviously I will have your phone number for any emergencies! I will follow any instructions you give me & I will also simply treat your pet with compassion, respect, & love. I love to play with animals & give them lots of attention, it’s very important to me as I know they may be nervous being around a new person.

There are a few things depending on pet service (whether it’s just walks or actual house sitting)..whether or not your dog gets along with other dogs/people is important for walks, if the dog has any medications they take & what they take them for, the dogs vet info, what the dog enjoys or doesn’t enjoy, etc. I feel like most pet owners know what is important to share about their pet with someone who is going to be caring for their pet.
A typical day
I know of dog parks to go to if that’s something the owner wants me to do as well as trails to walk dogs on! I am up for whatever the owner prefers really when it comes to what I do with the dog but I’m usually walking dogs, playing with dogs & their toys (fetch, tug of war, etc), giving belly rubs & lots of pets, giving treats, & talking to them! I also love to take pics of the dogs/cats for the owner!

Mt Holly/S Charlotte/Steele Creek areas I have been working alongside a Petsitting company for 5 years now & decided to work with Rover as well. I will treat your pet with respect, love, & compassion and I will ease your nerves by sending updates and pictures/videos while you’re away! I also follow instructions, keep things clean, & will be sure to keep your home safe while you’re away (closing/locking doors, shutting off lights, setting alarm, etc). I am certified in pet first aid. Advanced Booking Policy: To keep my schedule flexible and make sure I can give every pet the best care, I’m currently only accepting bookings 1–2 months in advance. Blake is our go-to sitter, she's thoughtful and affectionate with my boy and very communicative. I only go with another sitter when she's not available. I wish I could clone her, as I haven't felt as much trust with the other sitters as I have with her. She's wonderful!
Blake did amazing as always! Very thankful for the care she provides my cat while I’m out town!! Being out of town for multiple days without service would usually have me nervous, but I always feel worry and stress free when Boots is in Blake’s care and I can’t thank her enough for that!! :) it’s very appreciated! I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Blake was AMAZING with our 8 month old pit/hound mix. Leading up to our trip she provided excellent communication and made sure to ask questions to ensure our dog was taken care of. Throughout our two week trip she provided exactly the kind of communication requested and we got so many pictures of our little man with toys, having a cuddle, and being a goofball. When we came home our house was clean and she’d even stripped the bedding and popped it into the wash for us. We were so nervous leaving him for two weeks but Blake made it so easy not to worry about him. She’s the best sitter you could ask for and worth every penny.
We have rebooked with Blake and always very satisfied - she is timely and gives good updates!
