I live on an acre and a half wooded property in Northgate, a few minutes south of the station. The home is pet proof and heated, with plenty of room for your dog to make themselves comfortable. The fenced yard and surrounding very low traffic neighborhood make for good exercise and stimulation in the quiet woods and green belt featuring hiking trails and a large fenced dog park. At owners request, surrounding trails of varying difficulty in the area offer a great day time excursion to get rid of some of that pent up energy. As an avid hiker, mountain biker, and overland backpacker, I'm always eager to have the opportunity to get your companions out into nature for those with higher energy furry friends.

Have worked with a variety of dogs of varying temperaments throughout my time. Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or care requirements and I will do my very best to accommodate them and ensure they are as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
This can be adjusted based on your dog's regular level of activity. Once breakfast for both of us is out of the way, out the door for a morning walk/hike, play time breaks throughout the day and ideally another walk later in the day before dusk. Very open to developing a daily activity plan that melds with the owners preferences.

Pet care experience
I've had 2 dogs in my lifetime and have been taking care of them, as well as several other pets since I was 5. On top of sitting for countless friends and family members, I’ve had a lot of experience working with dogs across the vast size, temperament, and difficulty spectrum as my time as a sitter on Wag in the Issaquah area over the past 5 years and I’m looking forward to establishing myself here in Seattle. 🙂 Anyone in my life can attest to the fact that I am someone with a huge heart for animals and I can assure you that your pet will be experiencing only the highest standard of care and activity during their stay at our home. Our cozy abode with a pet friendly couch, fenced yard in quiet neighborhood adjacent to a green belt featuring hiking trails and a large dog park mean that your friend will be happy in our care, whatever their level of activity.

Blake was an excellent sitter for our pup Koda! He kept us updated on how he was doing while we were out of town and even agreed to coordinate a handoff with our friends during Thanksgiving, so accommodating! Blake did a wonderful job caring for our girl! He was very communicative, flexible, and sent frequent updates. He treated her to trips to the dog park and has a fenced in yard that she loved hanging out in! It was like her own little doggy vacation. Definitely planning to reach out to Blake in the future :)
