I request a lot of details beforehand, this is to ensure each animal is comfortable (Feeding schedules, medication schedules, triggers, favorite activities, etc). Every animal is different & what is important to me is learning about this.
A typical day
Fetch! ? Tug! Hikes! Tricks! I usually ask for their favorite activities & hiking spots ahead of time & an outline of their daily routine to try & stick to that as closely as possible. Let me know if you’d like us to do a certain activity or walk somewhere specific.

Hey there, 🌞 I’m Blake, 36 yrs old & I have been dog/cat-sitting & walking for 13 years & I’ve had pets my whole life. In that time I’ve worked for “Zen Dog Walking” in Seattle for 4 years & I’ve also had my own company “Dog Adventures by Blake.” I’ve learned a lot about animal behavior while spending time around hundreds of dogs, all different breeds. I feel like I can intuitively understand (most) dogs/cats & the reasons for their behaviors (most are pretty simple I've found: they develop trust/comfort through food, attention, calm body language & voice, outdoor time & just good vibes - a lot like humans). I’m also a highly sensitive person & pay a lot of attention to subtle details. Medication/Food Allergies: I am experienced in giving medication and being very strict with food allergies and any other concerns. I am also very experienced with special needs animals (blind, deaf, emotional, etc). Blake is an awesome dog sitter. We’ve had her stay at our Airbnb twice now to take care of our Bella while we were out for the day hiking. She takes the best pictures ever! She is punctual and did her best to wear Bella out. Bella didn’t even hear us get home she was so fast asleep. Can’t recommend Blake enough. She’s great.
Blake was awesome! We had her stay the day with Bella at our Airbnb. She took such good care of Bella giving her lots of walks and playtime. She takes really fabulous pictures too! We’ll definitely book her again when we’re in town.
Blake is always meticulous about communicating, taking time to play with our cat, and making sure the litter box is super tidy. Highly recommend!
Our senior kitty (19 years old!) has a special connection with Blake. Blake is always attentive to detail, caring, and givers her lots of individualized attention.
