Safety, trust & environment

For sitting and boarding, your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities, supported by a fully fenced-in yard and a home environment tailored to their needs. We share our space with Scallop, our friendly Coton de Tulear, and my husband brings lifelong experience handling a diverse range of breeds—from Pitbulls and Bulldogs to Golden Retrievers and Cotons. We are highly adaptable to your dog’s specific routine; whether they require consistent crating, strict "no furniture" boundaries, or precise feeding habits, we will maintain your house rules exactly as requested to ensure a seamless transition from your home to ours.

A typical day

A typical day in the Sampson household is getting up, drinking our coffee with the pups, and taking them for a walk. I work from home and let the dogs out in the yard with the sliding glass door open, so they can walk in and out as they please. My husband goes into work a few times a week or he will work from home. In the evening, they will get another walk and more playtime in the backyard, and wind down inside.

Pet care experience

Welcome! I’m a lifelong dog owner with over 10 years of experience walking, sitting and boarding dogs of all sizes — from small Coton de Tulears to sweet Pitbulls to gentle Newfoundlands. I provide boutique, in-home sitting and boarding with full-time supervision during the day, as I work from home. Your dog will receive personalized attention, structured play, enrichment, and plenty of affection — never long hours alone. If we have a commitment such as dinner plans in the evening, we will ensure Scallop and your dog are comfortable before ever leaving them alone, and never for long periods of time. For boarding, our home features a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and sunshine, with plenty of shady spots. My husband and I share it with our 1.5-year-old Coton de Tulear, Scallop — a sweet, well-socialized little guy who loves canine company. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I only accept dogs who are friendly with small dogs. I also have a soft spot for senior dogs and those needing a little extra care — patience and attentiveness are always part of the experience here. I’d love to connect and see if we’re the right fit for your pup.

10/10 experience, highly recommend using Blair. She took great care of my puppy and adult dog for a week. Both of my dogs have very different personalities and different needs, she made them feel right at home. Blair includes great photos and updates while caring for your animals. Her attention to detail and love for animals goes a long way!

Blair was everything we could have hoped for! She took great care of our dog Leo and took him on 2 walks during his day with her. She was super responsive and sent great photos. We will definitely continue to use Blair for any daycare needs in the future!

Blair has been phenomenal with our dog Lucy. She’s known Lucy for many years, and as she ages (Lucy, not Blair) she has been able to adapt to how demanding our senior dog has become. We loving asking Blair to help us out, for walks, feedings, just coming over to be a comforting presence in our home. We always recommend Blair to all family and friends!
