I have always been an animal lover, growing up in the countryside with an array of horses, goats, dogs and cats. I currently have two labradors (one is an *Angel* and can calm even the most nervous Nellies, and the other just wants you to throw the dang ball!). I have a large fenced in area and wooded trails for curious noses:) For sure you can expect your pup will be treated as one of our own with snuggles and comfy places to sleep. Also, my house is very close to several nature preserves; I am an avid hiker, so (if appropriate) longer stays will get field trips! I have help from a trusty teen and am working on a couple projects that allow me incredible flexibility in my schedule. I am really excited to host your furry family members!

I can’t recommend Blair highly enough. Our four dogs grew up together and over the years we helped each other care for them. Blair would take my dogs when I just needed a break or when I was out of town, taking them on long walks, to the dog park, and adventures in the woods. They absolutely loved seeing her—and her dogs! They became their own family of dogs. I always trusted Blair completely with their care. She grew up with dogs, understands them, and appreciates their different personalities, genuinely loves being around them. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their own.
I highly recommend Blair for pet care. She proved herself to be very reliable on the three occasions when I left my two very rambunctious Springer Spaniels in her care. She provides a warm, pet-friendly environment and makes sure the animals in her care get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. I always felt good about leaving my dogs with her, knowing they're in capable hands.
I can’t recommend Blair highly enough when it comes to caring for dogs. Her love of them is genuine and lifelong, and it shows in the way she interacts with them. She understands that they need more than just food and a safe place to stay. She values plenty of exercise, play, attention, and companionship. Something I've seen when she cares for her own two dogs. What really sets her apart is her understanding of dog behavior. She takes the time to notice their individual personalities, needs, and cues, and she knows how to respond. They seem to naturally trust and connect with her. Highly suggest her services!
Blair has watched my Golden Retriever on several occasions. She is a true "dog person!" She treats her like her own and I can rest assured she is in good hands. I also know she gets plenty of exercise and stimulation. On the occasions that Blair has watched my dog in her own house, I have had the added benefit of social play with her two gentle dogs. My dog loves that!! So grateful to have her and highly recommend.

Schedule
I am currently at home full-time. Multiple fetch sessions and walks throughout the day are the norm. Walks are either on-site, or at a near by field/preserve.

I have two very friendly dogs who would love some company! They sleep wherever -- I do have a twin sized day bed in my room that they sometimes like, but a nervous boarder would be welcome to it:)

A typical day
A typical day includes various stimuli such as talking, cuddling, toys and fetch. At least a couple walks in the woods are in order as welI. I have a very social 'Velcro' dog and and a very active dog; I am never am bored! 😆
