At this time I cannot board cats in my home and am happy to care for your cat(s) in their home either with drop-ins or staying with them through the day and night.
Information Blair H. would like to know about your pet
Please be sure to share medicinal needs and any special method you use to administer. I have experience with oral medication and injections (insulin). Any other particulars or special requests for your cats are welcome. Please double check that vet and food information is up to date before my catsit starts.
A typical day
My day will depend on your cat's wants and needs. Play before or after morning food? Deal! Ready to cuddle? Let me make a cuppa and grab my book, and I'll be right there. Time to watch the birds outside? I will fully encourage cackling. Ready to go outside (if allowed)? Let's go and I will scope out the yard too and find a shady spot to relax. Depending on how active cats are at night I may close the bedroom door, but this is rare. Please note that at this time I am not able to comfortably navigate full flights of stairs due to a torn meniscus. A few stairs to the door are just fine.

Cat care experience
Cats have always been in my life in some capacity. Growing up my family had 2 cats and as teenager would do drop-ins for neighbors while they were on vacation. Then became a petsitter as one of several steady jobs during college. Now I am a petsitter when I do not have a cat of my own as I love being around cats and learning their personalities and preferences.
Reviews

Blair is so personable and kind! She took great care of our cat, and was great at communicating throughout our trip. I would book her again in a heartbeat!
If you’re looking for someone who treats your pets and home with the utmost care, look no further than Blair! She is a genuine animal lover and treats every pet as if it were her own. Beyond her exceptional care for animals, Blair is thoughtful, respectful, and incredibly diligent. Whether it’s keeping your house tidy, watering your plants, or managing other tasks, Blair handles everything with great attention to detail. Under her care, your pets will enjoy a staycation filled with fun and love, making them feel cherished and well-cared for. Choosing Blair means choosing peace of mind. She’s absolutely fantastic and goes above and beyond to provide the best possible care.
Blair has years of experience house sitting and pet sitting, both individually as well as in combination. In addition she has not only stayed extensively as an air bnb guest but also hosted her home as an air bnb. Having experienced both sides of this equation gives her a depth of knowledge in home care and how to handle the unexpected situations that can arise. As Blair's sister, I can attest to her love of companion animals and her deep capacity to comfort and care for them.
