Blaine & Kendra’s Bed & Biscuit
My wife, Kendra (registered Veterinary Technologist), and I (registered Advanced Care Paramedic), both grew up with large and small dogs and have experience caring for them as part of our family. In the past, we assisted a ferret rescue shelter by fostering ferrets with high medical needs. We even adopted a few of them along the way! We no longer have pets of our own and started dog-sitting for friends over the past number of years. We do enjoy entertaining four-legged guests and making sure they are well looked after when their owners need to be away for a time.

Blaine was absolutely fantastic. We struggled to find care for our big boy who is unfortunately very reactive to other animals. Blaine took excellent care of him and we received lots of updates. It was the first time I’ve ever been able to actually relax while we were on vacation and I truly am so grateful for their wonderful service. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Brisket!!
Hard to express just how thankful I am to have Kendra and Blaine care for Kiwi. She has significant medical needs as she is in the last phase of her life. This includes complex meals and multiple medications, so leaving her with others usually feels impossible. With Kendra and Blaine I was actually able to relax for the day knowing Kiwi was in the safest hands possible. They didn't just 'watch' her, they gave her a mini-vacation! They took her to their lake lot where she was able to enjoy new "sights" and smells. She came home happy, tired and slept through the night soundly. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you both for giving Kiwi such a wonderful day!
Hilo and Kona absolutely love staying with Blaine and Kendra. They get pup cups, treats, nail trims and to go camping! They love it so much Hilo even sleeps on Kendra’s pillow. Never have any worries leaving them when they stay here.
This was our second time having Blaine and Kendra watch our Frenchie, Mabel, and once again they were fantastic! They took great care of her, kept us updated, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Mabel was happy and well cared for when we got home. We wouldn't hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, caring pet sitters. ❤️
We had such a wonderful experience with Blaine and Kendra! They took amazing care of our baby, Mabel, and it was clear from the start that she was in loving, capable hands. They sent daily updates and photos, which meant so much to us and really put our minds at ease while we were away. It was obvious from the pictures that Mabel was happy, relaxed, and being treated like part of their family. 😊 Communication was excellent, they were reliable and thoughtful, and we truly appreciated the care and attention they gave her. Schedule
I am available to monitor four-legged guests frequently throughout the day, have a short break for a walk, play in the backyard and let them outside whenever needed. We are not typically away from the house for more than a few hours at a time.

Safety, trust & environment
Our home is a quiet, safe space with positive energy. Four-legged guests are typically free to wander our two-story house. A pet bed, blanket, or crate can be placed wherever they will be most comfortable. We have a fenced backyard with some trees and are surrounded by walking trails as well as being very close to Beaumont's new dog park. We enjoy taking lots of pictures so pet parents can feel at ease, knowing their fur baby is getting the care and attention they need. Kendra is a registered Veterinary Technologist/ Certified Canine Body Worker and I am a registered Advanced Care Paramedic. With both of us being healthcare professionals we can usually accommodate special feeding, medication, and extra care needs.
A typical day
We like to provide mental and physical stimulation for your dog. We'll play a bunch of games, check out all the smells in the neighborhood trail system throughout Beaumont, and of course cuddle lots during their time here. We are located in close proximity to the off-leash dog park and Beaumont has a well-maintained paved trail system for walking.
