I am available to monitor four-legged guests frequently throughout the day, have a short break for a walk, play in the backyard and let them outside whenever needed. We are not typically away from the house for more than a few hours at a time.

Our home is a quiet, safe space with positive energy. Four-legged guests are typically free to wander our two-story house. A pet bed, blanket, or crate can be placed wherever they will be most comfortable. We have a fenced backyard with some trees and are surrounded by walking trails as well as being very close to Beaumont's new dog park. We enjoy taking lots of pictures so pet parents can feel at ease, knowing their fur baby is getting the care and attention they need. Kendra is a registered Veterinary Technologist/ Certified Canine Body Worker and I am a registered Advanced Care Paramedic. With both of us being healthcare professionals we can usually accommodate special feeding, medication, and extra care needs.

Let us know if your pet has any special needs, (medications, physio programs etc) or behaviors that we can account for. Please advise us of your house rules as continuity is very important to maintain, even when they are on their own vacations. - Must be house trained or pee pad trained and not a chewer of furniture - Vaccine Titers are accepted at our house, current results within a 3 yr period - List daily routines (feeding/medicating/walking schedules, physio programs) - food allergies - emergency contact and Veterinary Clinic info
A typical day
We like to provide mental and physical stimulation for your dog. We'll play a bunch of games, check out all the smells in the neighborhood trail system throughout Beaumont, and of course cuddle lots during their time here. We are located in close proximity to the off-leash dog park and Beaumont has a well-maintained paved trail system for walking.

Pet care experience
My wife, Kendra (registered Veterinary Technologist), and I (registered Advanced Care Paramedic), both grew up with large and small dogs and have experience caring for them as part of our family. In the past, we assisted a ferret rescue shelter by fostering ferrets with high medical needs. We even adopted a few of them along the way! We no longer have pets of our own and started dog-sitting for friends over the past number of years. We do enjoy entertaining four-legged guests and making sure they are well looked after when their owners need to be away for a time.

We had such a wonderful experience with Blaine and Kendra! They took amazing care of our baby, Mabel, and it was clear from the start that she was in loving, capable hands. They sent daily updates and photos, which meant so much to us and really put our minds at ease while we were away. It was obvious from the pictures that Mabel was happy, relaxed, and being treated like part of their family. 😊 Communication was excellent, they were reliable and thoughtful, and we truly appreciated the care and attention they gave her. We are so grateful that Winston stayed with Blaine and his partner while we were away for a week. They were so attentive to his needs, including everything. Walks, emotional attention, pill administration and monitoring him to ensure no more signs of some stomach issues he’d been having about a week before his stay. They kept us updated regularly with photos and videos and always helped with any questions we had about how things were going. This was our second time leaving Winston with them and it definitely wouldn’t be our last, we’re grateful to know that Winston loves it there so much and is taken such great care of.
We can’t say enough wonderful things about Blaine & Kendra. From the moment we met them, we felt completely at ease leaving our boy in their care. Knowing Kendra is a holistic vet tech gave us such peace of mind — we knew he was not only in loving hands but capable ones too. They treated him like family, sent us updates that always made us smile, and went above and beyond to make sure he was happy and comfortable. It’s rare to find people who combine genuine warmth with such professional knowledge. We’re so grateful to have found them and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book again. Our dog absolutely adores them, and so do we!
