Comfy south ATX home with backyard
My wife and I have been dog sitting for multiple friends over the years and as Rover sitters since August 2020! We both love meeting new furry friends (and their owners) - we have 2 small dogs of our own. We do prefer to sit dogs with low to medium energy levels (to accommodate our elderly dog) and 2 years or older, but we can definitely make exceptions on age and energy level with a Meet & Greet.

5 stars! Our precious Theo was in the best hands all week. BJ and Dez were simply amazing. Strong communication before booking, they were eager to learn about our pups habits, lots of pics and updates daily. We will absolutely be reaching out next time we leave town. A+ experience.
BJ & his wife were great hosts to my Pug, Hank! Very easy to communicate and accommodated my very early drop off due to an early flight. I received pictures every day which I appreciate so much as this is our first time using Rover. They made Hank feel welcome and he got to play with the other dogs. He must’ve had a great time because this Pug is worn out Lol Would definitely book with them again!
BJ was awesome and always kept me up to date with photos and how Copper was feeling and getting along with the other pups. I’ll definitely be using him again on future bookings. Thank you so much for taking great care of Copper!

BJ was so welcoming to our pup, great communicator and knew he was in good hands. Sent us pictures and updates regularly. He even gave our dog extra attention to make him comfortable as it takes him time to warm up. Will definitely book again!

Schedule
I work from home, so I’m readily available to keep your pet companion company while you’re away on vacation, business or if your grumpy mother-in-law who doesn’t like dogs is in town.

Safety, trust & environment
Our home has a wide open floor plan with plenty of room to accommodate the even rowdy (but well mannered), playful ones, and has a very secure backyard. Happy to take your loved one on walks (except during afternoons in summer), on outings to the park and make any other accommodations to make their stay as comfortable and stress free as possible while they’re separated from their 'hooman'.
Pets
A typical day
We love to go for walks, throw the ball in the secure backyard, go to the park (with owners' permission) to Zilker/Auditorium Shores. If you have any special fun things you like to do with your pet, let us know and we'll try to accommodate!
