I cannot recommend Bishoy enough! They watched my dog and took absolute wonderful care of him. From the very beginning, communication was seamless, and I received regular updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind. Pluto came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. We will definitely be booking again!

This is the second time we’ve used Bishoy to take care of our dog, Scruffy. He’s a wonderful dog sitter. His family was very welcoming to our dog which made us feel good about leaving her. He gave us regular updates. We would definitely use his services again.

I chose Bishoy because he seemed kind, loves animals, and assured me he would provide the extra attention my dog needed and the frequent updates I needed to ease my mind. Unfortunately, my experience did not match the expectations that were discussed before booking. My dog, Maddie, is a rescue who was clearly abused and neglected before I adopted her. She is very loving but has fears and takes time to trust new people. I made it clear during our meet-and-greet that I was extremely nervous about leaving her with someone she didn't know and that regular communication would be very important to me. The meet-and-greet raised concerns when I was initially discouraged from seeing the inside of the home where Maddie would be staying. After I insisted on seeing the space, I met several family members and was told they would also be interacting with her. While everyone seemed caring and genuinely fond of dogs, I was left with the impression that Maddie's care would involve multiple family members rather than Bishoy alone. Before booking, Bishoy assured me he would be with Maddie most of the time, would take her on walks in the woods, and would provide several updates and videos each day. Because of Maddie's anxiety and my concerns about leaving her, these commitments were important factors in my decision. When I arrived to drop Maddie off at the agreed-upon time, Bishoy was not home. His mother answered the door, and despite knowing I was on my way, he did not answer his phone when she tried to reach him. I ended up reviewing Maddie's care instructions with his mother instead. This was unsettling, especially given my concerns about leaving Maddie with a stranger for the first time. Communication throughout the stay was my biggest disappointment. Although I repeatedly requested updates, I typically had to reach out first, often late in the morning, to learn how Maddie was doing. Responses were usually brief and vague, and questions were often left unanswered. The videos I received were generally only a few seconds long and did little to reassure me about how she was adjusting. Instead of being able to relax and enjoy my vacation, I spent much of the trip worrying about her well-being. Toward the end of the stay, I learned that Maddie had not been eating much. Most of the food I packed was returned, and I was never given much detail about her daily routine, activities, or efforts to help her feel comfortable. Several of the things discussed before booking—frequent updates, extra attention, walks in the woods, and special efforts to help her settle in—did not happen. Pickup was another concern. Even after providing advance notice and updates about my arrival time, Bishoy again was not present when I arrived. He informed me that his brother could release Maddie to me instead. Given that I had booked and communicated with Bishoy directly, I did not feel this was appropriate. I do believe Bishoy and his family care about animals, and Maddie was most likely safe during her stay. However, I did not receive the level of communication, attentiveness, or personal care that was promised and that I specifically requested for a fearful rescue dog. If you are simply looking for a safe place for your pet to stay, this may be a suitable option. However, if your pet and you require extra attention, reassurance, consistent communication, or highly personalized care, you may want to explore other options.

Thank you so much for the wonderful care you took of Sophie over the past two weeks. You took such good care of her, and I truly appreciate your time, effort, and attentiveness while I was away. It gave me great peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. Thank you again for everything! Best regards, Tegene
