I am grateful to be able to connect with and provide service to all animals; it’s my calling! With 10+ years of experience, I specialize in senior pet care, anxious animals, special-needs pets, and animals with past trauma who require gentle handling. I've completed training through an accredited dog walking business which included intensive hands on instruction, focused on dog behavior, safe handling, and structured walks. I offer professional dog walking services that combine exercise and exploration. My understanding of canine behavior ensures each dog enjoys a walk that’s both stimulating and comforting. Walking dogs is a passion of mine, and I take pride in keeping them active, happy, and well-behaved during every outing. I am comfortable administering oral and topical medications as directed, monitoring eating and drinking habits, assisting with vet visits, and providing calm care for pets experiencing pain, anxiety, or age-related challenges. I build trusting relationships with pets by following established routines, paying close attention to body language, and adapting care to each animal’s needs. I value clear, consistent communication with pet parents and always provide thoughtful updates to ensure peace of mind while they’re away. Binta is an all-star and a consummate professional! My dog loved her right away. Binta made sure my dog stayed on a comforting routine, gave her lots of attention, made sure she got a lot of outdoor time and exercise, etc. Binta’s updates were extremely detailed and featured lots of cute pictures. Her place is cozy, clean, and organized, making it an ideal home away from home for your furry loved one. We will definitely call on Binta again the next time we travel.

Schedule
I currently work from home, which allows me ample time and flexibility to give pets focused, attentive care. I live directly across the street from a large park (1 minute walk) and I am a 10 minute walk from a park with hiking trails for extended walks and exercise. Holiday and last-minute bookings are accepted based on availability. I recommend reaching out as early as possible for holidays to ensure availability, but I’m happy to accommodate short-notice requests whenever possible.

I live in a clean and quiet ground level apartment with easy access to a nearby park and dog park. I have a crate, bed, food / water bowl, training pads, and toys in my home to ensure your pup's stay is comfortable, clean, and safe. My home is designed to be a peaceful “home away from home." When caring for pets in my home, I follow each pet’s established routines, including feeding schedules, walks and any needed medication. I prioritize safety, comfort, and close supervision. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely. I focus on maintaining familiar routines, keeping the environment clean and secure, and offering clear updates to pet parents.
A typical day
I also love nature and would love to take dogs on walks through parks around the city, water fronts, and dog park play areas. I will bring the dog's toys and we can play outside together! If weather does not permit, we can also find appropriate indoor exercise or games to play.
