I have cared for dogs my entire life, and we have been a multi-dog home for the past 20 years. We currently own a male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We recently lost our other Cavs so we just have Niles. If you choose to board your dog with us or allow us to provide Doggie Day Care service we will treat your pet like a part of the family as if they were our own. We live on a 3 acre plot of land in rural Johnstown, a good portion of our back lot is fenced in to allow our dogs a lot of room to play. Your dog will never be unsupervised, even inside the fenced yard. We can tailor our boarding to your specific needs. We can kennel your dog at night or allow your dog to sleep in a bed if that's what they are accustomed to. The goal is for your dog to feel as relaxed as possible while you're away. I have owned dogs in the past that were scared of loud noises, thunder, had severe separation anxiety, etc. So I have a lot of experience dealing with dogs with some special needs. I advise that you bring familiar items with you (toys, blankets) for boarding and day care services in order for your dog to have some familiar surroundings, especially if they are not used to being away from the owner.
