Your dog's Cottage!
A fun loving (kid free) couple who absolutely love animals, live across from Lake Simcoe in a home with plenty of space for your pooch; sound's like your dog's new favourite place to go and people to be with- we're Bianca & Michael, the host of Your Dog's Cottage! We are dying to get a dog of our own but are looking to continue using the experience of taking care of other's dogs to influence and better our decision. That being said, we have taken care of countless dogs to date, each visit as gone extraordinarily well! One of our favourite comments we’ve received is that the dog seems depressed once arriving home after a stay here at Your Dog’s Cottage, we find that hilarious and take it as such a compliment. We can completely understand why, we give each dog our undivided attention day in and out, even allow them to cuddle up to us in our bed! We provide the same love and care we would show to our own family animals. I, Bianca, have owned a dog majority of my life as well as a cat simultaneously for majority of those days. I have developed an immense love for animals along the way and have gained a great deal of knowledge while owning dog's specifically. Between pet health issues and general interest, We continue to learn everyday on behalf of these helpless creatures! I, Michael, have never had the pleasure of owning an animal throughout life but have always dreamt of one day owning my own. Being with an animal lover has of course had it's effect on me, it's a contagious love! I think by now you should feel comfortable enough to at least TRY giving your dog this AMAZING opportunity, afterall, if you're going on vacay doesn't your dog deserve to as well? Each of these celebrities (your fur babies) will have different expectations of their stay of course and a team of people (you, the owners) to dictate theses expectations. We, the owners of the resort, wait for your direction and follow your requests to a T, after all this guest is VIP!

Bianca and Michael have cared for my dog for several years, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Being away from her is never easy, but knowing she is genuinely loved, well cared for, and treated as family gives me complete peace of mind. Their regular updates, complete with photos and videos, make an enormous difference and always reassure me that she is happy, comfortable, and safe. Bianca and Michael were amazing with Panda! She has anxiety and can be a bit of a handful, but they handled her so well and made her feel safe and loved. I could tell she was in great hands the whole time. Super grateful for the care, the updates, and all the patience. Would definitely recommend them 🙏🏼 thank you so much!

Bianca and Michael are such great sitters. Butters, our 14-year-old chug, went to visit his sitters for the second time. They sent us updates and pictures of our little guy. We feel so comfortable and safe leaving him for 10 days. They are such a wonderful team, and we are so lucky to have found them; they are worth the drive. Thank you guys again for everything.
Benny had another nice vacation with Bianca and Michael. Benny was in no rush to come home because he had a good time 🐾😁

Schedule
Bianca runs a Baking business out of the home's basement (away from any pooch action.) Michael works in telecom sales Remotely… needless to say, there is no better way to ensure your pooch ALWAYS has the company they deserve.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced in back yard with a on-ground pool, surrounded by a medium sized deck and a small grassy area this is where your fur baby will be taken out to use the facilities. and be able to roam freely , it is not very big but we compensate with lakeside walks daily. We also have a front yard with a large enough area of grass for your pooch to use the facilities (on leash since we face a pretty busy road.)
A typical day
A typical day for your dog will be WHATEVER YOU TELL US IS YOUR DOG'S IDEA OF A PERFECT DAY! We want to to make sure your baby feels like they are at home in every way shape and form, down to schedule. Whatever they are used to or love doing especially we will ensure to make happen!!
