In a client’s home I am mindful of existing protocols and placements of items. This means knowing what treats can be given and when, where the leashes/toys go, enforcing established rules while keeping a mindful presence.

As someone with a rescue I find it really important to share what sort of routine/rituals are helpful when the pup is meeting someone for the first time. Any sort of do’s/don’ts when meeting or taking care of them is a high priority.

Often times the activities will depend on the pup’s energy and behavior. Something calming like making lick mats, holding chew toys, or soft blankets to cuddle on. Something more active is throwing a ball/frisbee, rolling treats up in snuffle mats/towels, or going on trail with exciting smells

I have a pup named Frida who is a rescue and has taught me so much about patience and care. I’ve grown up with dogs and have helped sit for friends dogs. I am very observant and attentive of dog behaviors, personalities, and matching their energy. As a Rover user and dog mom I am very amenable to the level of care and love your pup may need 🌞

Bianca is great with pets! She is kind and cares greatly for her own pup and has also cared for my cats when I have been out of town. She pays attention to what my cats need, but also respects them and gave them the time and space to warm up to her. I trust Bianca fully with my fur babies and know I can rely on her as a pet caregiver. Highly recommend-if you want someone caring, attentive, and understanding, Bianca is your person!
