I structure my day around making sure pets receive consistent care, stimulation, and attention. For my own pets, I time-block parts of the day to ensure they get proper exercise and engagement to support healthy behavior and routine. For dogs, I provide multiple daily walks along with regular potty breaks, playtime, and enrichment activities. For cats, I focus on interactive stimulation, play, and maintaining a calm, enriched indoor environment. If a cat enjoys outdoor time safely (such as stroller walks), I’m happy to include that as part of their routine.

It’s also helpful to know their comfort level with walks, other animals, and new environments so I can better tailor our experience together.
A typical day
I tailor activities based on each pet’s personality, energy level, and routine. For dogs, this includes fun walks, sniff-heavy “exploration time,” play sessions with their favorite toys, and enrichment activities that keep them mentally stimulated. For cats, I focus on interactive play with wands, chasing games, and creating engaging enrichment activities to keep them curious and active. If a cat enjoys it and it’s safe, I also love offering stroller walks for a change of scenery.

I’ve had multiple sitters over, and even had my fur babies in doggie hotels. I have 2 aussies (anyone with Australian shepherds know how active of a breed they are) with severe separation anxiety. I don’t know what it is but the minute Bianca came into their lives, my dogs cling onto her like glue. She always spoils them with hugs and kisses, and they love going out for walks with her.
