We used to host a lot when our dog Mowgli was a pup. We stopped after our kid was born. Mowgli recently passed away at nearly 13, and now our main motivation in being hosts is to enjoy the company of your pups and honor the love and support we received from the Rover community who took care of our beloved Mowgli when we were traveling. Though Mowgli is no longer with us, his memory inspires us to share our home and love with other dogs. Both my husband and I have flexible work schedules, and we’re passionate dog lovers. We live in a super dog-friendly neighborhood with plenty of green spaces, and we make frequent trips to the nearby park and trails. Your pup will have plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and feel at home with us.

Bhumi and her family were very kind and caring with our dog, Lambeau. They watched him for a week and gave him plenty of exercise. They were mindful to exercise him early or late in the day and keep him indoors on a few days when the temperatures rose pretty high. Bhumi sent me daily pictures of Lambeau and I could tell he was being well-cared for. We are very happy that he had a comfortable stay with them and would use Bhumi again for dog boarding!

I work part time and mostly from home so I will have time to per your pup out regularly and take them for a walk to the park or the trail

We have a decent sized enclosed yard and both a trail and a park very close to our house. Our fence is 5 feet tall or higher all around.
Pets
A typical day
We have a bunch of dog toys at home. I love to play fetch in the yard during breaks between calls. In the morning and evening we usually go on a stroll or a brisk walk on the trail or at the park
