My sweet Mardi would love a friend!
I have had two King Charles Cavaliers as an adult and a Collie growing up as a child. I have watched different breeds of dogs at my home for family and friends for the last 4 years.

Schedule
For the last few years, I have not worked so I am blessed to stay at home and care for my own dog, Mardi who is 11 years old. She is a calm Cavalier King Charles that would love company; however, she does not play with other dogs. She is quiet, loving and loves to observe other people and dogs. I believe the presence of other dogs would be good and provide stimulation for Mardi. I live alone and the most I am away from home is 4-5 hours depending on if I play pickleball or visit my parents in Gastonia.

I am blessed to have a fenced in yard and doggy door. I have an enclosed porch that allows pets to look out the windows and see birds, nature and sunshine! I can easily crate your dog indoors day and night and outdoors on the porch during the warm weather.

A typical day
I love to play ball outside of the home with the dogs including watching them run circles in my back yard. I am happy to take your dog on a 30-minute walk in my neighborhood. And, I definitely enjoy snuggling with dogs including letting them share the bed with me and jump up on the couch if the parents allow.

- Please let me know if your dog has any special needs including meal preparation preferably in writing! I prefer that the dogs I watch are potty trained and are not constant barkers or chewers. Let me know if your dog can stay in a crate while I am away.
