I mostly work from home so this gives me the opportunity to spend much more of my time with my dogs and yours if they come to stay, to enjoy walks play time and of course lots of cuddles. To allow me to plan my diary ensuring this I do usually require a bit of notice as I do plan my schedule about a week ahead. I also like to do a meet and greet (if we have not previously met) prior to accepting a request. This is to ensure your dogs and mine all get on ok together. This sometimes involves a trial first. Please do feel free to ask though, should you have a last minute request and I will always try and accommodate if I can.

I have a small fully enclosed garden to which my dogs can have access to at all times. My downstairs space is 2 rooms allowing for dogs to be separated if required. All dogs in my care will receive 2 on the lead walks per day unless there are reasons they can’t or sometimes I use a secure field too so if they need a bit of freedom they can have this safely. Safety and well being is of utmost importance to me to ensure any dog in my care is looked after to the best of my ability and will given all the cuddles they want!

If your dog has any special requirements or any behaviours that need to be managed in a certain way please let me know. Happy to manage some tricky ones if I am aware in advance and can prepare. I would prefer to only have dogs that are fully vaccinated (including kennel cough) and up to date with flea and worm treatment, this is to protect both your dog and mine as I regularly come into contact with lots of other dogs at Flyball training and competitions but happy to discuss each individual request as I know this is not always possible for many reasons. I want your dog to have the home from home they are used to so keeping the routine and everything as they would have at home we will do our very best to accommodate.
A typical day
We have 2 walks per day, morning and later afternoon. Playtime or just going in the garden at lunchtime and before bedtime. Other times in the day will depend on the dog but some quiet time for resting is set aside. My own 2 dogs do like a little afternoon nap. I feed after walkies and this is followed usually by cuddles on the sofa!

Dogs are a massive part of my life, I have always cared for walked had for day care or overnight for my close friends and family. I have 2 dogs of my own and my older dog is now almost 16 so am well practiced in older dog care! I have also completed a canine first aid course

Beverley was absolutely fantastic! She took great care of our Corgi, Boris for two weeks while we were on holiday. Boris has made a new friend in Evvie and Ralph. Beverley sent frequent updates including photos which was really appreciated. Boris was in Beverley’s care over New Year, in preparation for this Beverley took him to a secure field so he could run around with Evvie and Ralph - this worked a treat and he slept through the evening! I even had to message Beverley last minute to see if she could have Boris for an extra night, thankfully she agreed - a real life saver. Boris will definitely book another stay with Beverley on the not so distant future! Thank you! ❤️
