I have now moved to Gosport, Hampshire and looking to build a new client base mainly in the PO12 area although as my partner lives in the PO1 area I will be able, given plenty of notice, to help in this area too. I moved into my own place in the early 90’s and rescued a bedraggled kitten by the canal where I live. I called him Pugsie and he stayed with me for 17 years. After a while I rescued 2 kittens needing a home (and also knew would be company for Pugsie) and called them Bootsie and Smudge. It took Pugsie a little while to accept them but they eventually all lived and played together, until Smudge passed away at 13 years old, then I lost Bootsie 1 year later and then finally Pugsie slipped away at 17 years old. I was devastated I’d lost all of my babies. All of them became quite ill in their later years so I had plenty of experience in administering medicines. After 6 months with no animals in my home I adopted two 4 year old sister cats from a lady who needed to find a home for them as her second child was allergic. Kitkat and Sophie have been with me for 5 ½ years and they certainly give my mum (who is 94 this year and also moved in with me 3 years ago) and myself lots of fun and laughter with their individual personalities. I am now currently studying Animal Care as I decided that working with animals is now my passion from the IT solution rat race I was in for over 20 years. I have passed 3 modules with distinction and DBS checked and certificates can be presented on request. I am now at home so can be flexible with times.
