Information Bev L. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your furbaby has any special needs and I can accommodate. I’m comfortable administering medications (oral as well as injectable) to cats 🐈⬛ and dogs 🐕. I’d like to know their temperament but am comfortable will high energy active animals as well as more chill and calm 😌 🙌🏼
A typical day
A typical day pet sitting starts with checking in on each pet’s routine and making sure they feel comfortable and secure. In the morning, I handle feeding, fresh water, and a bathroom break or litter box cleaning. For dogs, that usually includes a walk or some outdoor time to burn off energy. Throughout the day, I spend time engaging with the pets—whether that’s playtime, companionship, or just being present so they don’t feel alone. I also keep an eye on their behavior and health, making sure everything is normal. In the evening, I repeat feeding and bathroom routines, wind things down with calmer activities, and make sure they’re settled in for the night. I always aim to follow the owner’s instructions closely to keep the pets’ routine as consistent as possible. For fun activities, I tailor everything to the pet’s personality and energy level. For dogs, that might include walks, games of fetch, tug-of-war, or even basic training exercises to keep their minds active. For cats, I focus on interactive play like feather toys, laser pointers, or puzzle toys to stimulate their natural instincts. I also make time for cuddles, brushing, and calm bonding time for pets that enjoy affection. If appropriate, I like to introduce enrichment activities like treat puzzles or exploring new scents on walks. My goal is to keep pets happy, engaged, and stress-free while their owner is away.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of animals ever since I was 4, first animal being a yellow canary named Sunshine. Since then I’ve never lived without pets. I have the most experience with cats, but have owned dogs, fish, hamsters and lizards. Comfortable with all breeds and temperaments.

Bev also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews

After a cancellation we were able to find Bev to come and take care of our furry family over the Christmas holiday. We were a little worried where this was our first big trip away from the dogs and leaving them with a total stranger. We were able to meet a couple times before leaving and Otis and Luna warmed up very quickly. Bev checked in with us regularly and kept us updated. I would highly recommend Bev to anyone looking for a sitter.
