Pet care experience

puppy paradise

Our home is your dog's home. We start out with a walk, breakfast and groom or and social play time. R & R in front of a good tv show for a few hours. Now we need a snack and time to check out the back yard for a quick potty. Then we have some more cuddling, playtime, new toys are introduced in appropriate sizes. Now it's supper time and a short walk before bed.

My dog went with Betty on a Thursday and he was perfectly fine. We were gone for three nights and the morning we were coming back (Sunday) Betty called and told me that my dog got into her dogs food bowl and ate 1/8th of a cup of kibble and he has been throwing up. I told her I would be home earlier and she could bring him back in 45 mins when I’m home. When she brought him home, there was brown drool coming out of mouth, his tongue sticking out, he could barely walk and breathe. I asked her if he ingested anything else possibly and she kept saying no. I know my dog, he eats bread etc at home and I know that some kibble would not make him sick as he used to eat kibble all the time. I am sure he ingested something else while in her care. She brought him back around noon, I immediately took him to the vet and had to put my sweet dog to sleep. It broke our hearts seeing him suffering and knowing he may have been suffering while in her care. Rover customer support wanted a necropsy but I didn’t want to put my dogs body through that. Would not recommend taking your dog to her.
