Betty can care for
Availability
Pet care is my full-time focus, so I’m able to build my day around the dogs I’m working with rather than squeezing them into a busy schedule. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening visits, including weekends, and I keep my schedule flexible to accommodate consistent routines or occasional last-minute needs.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in your home, I focus on keeping things calm, consistent, and aligned with your dog’s normal routine. I take the time to understand their habits, energy level, and any specific instructions whether that’s feeding routines, walk preferences, or things to avoid. Walks are done in safe, familiar areas, and I always prioritize secure handling and awareness of the environment. I respect your home as if it were my own and make sure everything is left clean and in order. After each visit, you’ll receive updates with photos and notes so you always know how your dog is doing.
Information Betty D. would like to know about your pet
Before our first visit, I like to learn a few key details so I can provide the best possible care for your dog. This includes their typical routine, energy level, leash behavior, and how they do with other dogs or people. It’s also helpful to know about any medical needs, sensitivities, or specific triggers (for example: pulling on leash, reactivity, or anxiety when left alone). I also appreciate clear instructions for feeding, entry/exit, and anything unique about your home or neighborhood that helps keep things safe and smooth. The more I know upfront, the better I can match your dog’s routine and make sure they feel comfortable from the start.
A typical day
Every visit is tailored to your dog, but a typical day might include a walk or outdoor time, play or enrichment, and some calm downtime depending on their energy level. Some dogs want a good walk and activity others just want company and a consistent routine I adjust to both. I pay attention to their behavior and mood, so they’re not just exercised, but comfortable and relaxed by the time I leave.

Betty Walks Dogs - West Roseville
Pet care experience
Hi, I’m your go-to Blue Oaks dog walker providing reliable, personalized dog walking and drop-in pet care right here in West Roseville. I bring over 20 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes from tiny pups to gentle giants and I focus on creating a calm, comfortable experience tailored to each dog’s personality. I keep an active lifestyle, so I’m a great fit for dogs who enjoy getting out and moving but I’m just as attentive with calmer routines and low-key visits. Some dogs want miles, some want vibes. I adjust to both. Because I’m based right here in the Blue Oaks area, I’m able to show up consistently whether it’s a scheduled visit or a last-minute request. After every visit, you’ll receive a detailed Rover Card with GPS tracking, photos, and thoughtful updates so you always know exactly how your dog is doing. I like to start with a meet & greet to learn your dog’s routine, preferences, and personality. My goal is simple: your dog feels comfortable, and you feel completely confident in their care.
Reviews
A++ It’s been hard to walk my husky myself since my back injury. Betty showed up on time for the scheduled walk, and gave my dog the walk he’s been missing. Both Niko and I thank you!
Sam was happy. Will book again. Thanks Betty.
Betty has been an incredible dog sitter and walker. She is always reliable, attentive, and goes above and beyond to make sure my dog is well cared for. Highly recommend!
"I can’t say enough great things about Betty! She has been walking my dog Penny for over a year, and the experience has been fantastic. Penny comes back happy, well-exercised, and calm after each walk. Betty is reliable, punctual, and genuinely loves dogs, which is clear from how they interact with mine. Penny is thrilled to see her whenever she comes to pick her up. I appreciate the updates I get after each walk, including photos and a summary of how the walk went. Betty goes the extra mile to ensure my dog’s well-being and happiness. If you're looking for a caring, professional, and trustworthy dog walker, I highly recommend Betty."
