Pet care experience
Kind and patient dog & nature lover
I’ve always deeply loved animals ever since I was a child. I’ve always had a huge respect towards them and I truly believe that the way people treat animals says a lot about their character. In the last 5 years I spent a lot of times taking care of my friends dogs - a very much talkative dachshund and a Hungarian vizsla, two completely different breed with different personalities. Every time I take care of them I always make sure we have enough time for training and I try my best to help them exercise their brain. But the most important part is that me and my other half have a sweet and calm, very patient long haired dachshund girl called Mango who’s 10 years old and we put a lot of energy, love and time into training her. She is just everything to us. I’m also a very talkative person myself and I love talking to animals and I absolutely believe that talking to them truly matters and they do listen to you, so whatever is the agenda for the day I love sharing it with my dog and with other dogs as well!

Bettina has looked after my two cats a few times now, and she’s been brilliant every time. She’s friendly, gentle, and trustworthy, and she sent lovely updates and photos so I always knew they were okay. My cats were clearly comfortable with her and really well looked after. I’d happily recommend Bettina to anyone needing a caring and reliable pet sitter.

Schedule
I have a small business and also a part-time job but I’m not working at the moment due to a small injury with my right wrist, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pup. Right now I’m available from Monday to Sunday, throughout the whole day, but there is always a day or two (usually a Monday and / or a Tuesday) when me and my partner have some chores to do in the first part of the day but I’m still available from the afternoon!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Though I live in an apartment, the building is at a dead end with a walking pathway in front of us with lots of trees and plants, birds chirping everywhere. We also have a shared garden with high wooden fence so there’s plenty of space for a quick toilet break. I have a 10 years old very calm, patient and friendly dachshund girl called Mango so your doggie will have a little companion. We also have a lovely balcony where my dog loves sitting and just chilling and watching people come and go. Our apartment has 2 bedrooms, a long hallway and a spacious living room so there’s plenty of space for playing, chilling or for a crate. I personally don’t have a crate but if you do have one you can bring it with you.
