Woof Woof!! I speak Dog.
I can board small dogs at our house, and I can sit large and small dogs and horses, chickens and just about any other animals at your house. (We just built a new house with hardwood floors and no fenced yard!) I have loved and trained dogs, cats, and horses since I was a young child. I love and respect all animals, and I get along with most of them right from the get-go. I am retired, healthy, and like to get out and about. I do expect pets to behave, and have the utmost respect for the boundaries you have set for your pet. Some years back, I trained our brown mutt family pet to play the role of Sandy in the HS performance of Annie. She brought the house down at curtain bow! I believe in training animals by showing them respect and being very clear about what it is I am asking of them. So let's go! I want to meet your dog!

Betsy does a fantastic job. She has kept my dog at least 3 times. She spends a lot of time with him and always leaves the house spotless after a weeks stay. Highly recommend!

This was my first time using Rover.com. I needed a house sitter for a week with my Weimaraner. Betsy was great. Took her for long walks ( 2+ mile walks),and slept with her. Sophie bonded right away with her. This was the first time that I have also left her that she did not get diarrhea from separation anxiety. The house was in perfect condition when I returned and my dog could not have been any happier. Would definitely use again and recommend.
Betsy is the only person we have trusted with our spoiled dogs and we have no regrets! It’s so nice knowing we have this option going forward. She has an intuitive nature and knew what our dogs needed at all times!
