"Best in Show"
Pet sitting is my full-time job, so I'm able to provide reliable, personalized care and give your pets all the attention they deserve. My boarding service is a little different from many others on Rover because I only care for one family's pets at a time. I don't have any dogs of my own so when your dog stays with me, they are my only guest. This creates a calm, low-stress environment and allows me to give them plenty of one-on-one attention. I’m home throughout the day and night and will send regular updates, photos, and videos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. For over 30 years, I have cared for dogs and cats including my own pets, client pets, rescue and foster dogs, and show dogs. Our home has fostered and placed over 50 rescue dogs from puppies to seniors. My daughter showed dogs professionally.. We housed, cared and transported the show dogs to events including Westminster, Eukanuba, and shows throughout the southeastern United States. I have also trained dogs in basic obedience, agility, and rally. My top priority is making sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and safe so you can fully enjoy your time away knowing they are in good hands. Betsy was absolutely amazing with my two cats, Stoney and Jeeter! From the moment I left for vacation, she kept me updated with frequent messages and lots of pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious that she genuinely cared for them and treated them like they were her own. Coming home to two happy, well-cared-for cats meant everything to me. The boys enjoyed having a new friend. Betsy was great with communication & pictures. She spent plenty of time with Bow Tie & O’Malley. The boys didn’t miss a beat - didn’t really miss us. We will ask Betsy again to watch the cats sometime soon.

Betsy is an outstanding and super friendly pet sitter. Our dog Philo has never been left with anyone but my wife or I and initially we were very nervous about leaving him with anyone else. Turned out to be a wonderful and extremely stress free outcome. Philo was immediately comfortable in his new surroundings and took to Betsy immediately. When we picked him up he was very relaxed and happy. Philo had made a true and genuine friendship with Betsy and for the first time we feel no hesitation in leaving him with Betsy in the future so we can do some things not suited for a dog. We feel blessed to have found Betsy, she treated our dog like he was her own. Don’t hesitate to contact Betsy or you’ll pass up a chance to have a great person take care of your family member! Harmonogram
Because pet sitting is my full-time work, I am home day and night with very limited time away. Dogs in my care are part of a calm, structured home routine. Walks, playtime, enrichment activities and rest periods are built naturally into the day based on each dog's needs and the weather. Your pet will receive the upmost care, attention and love!

I provide exclusive one-family-at-a-time boarding, meaning no mixing of unfamiliar dogs and no overlapping stays. My home is equipped with secure gates at exterior doors and I use non-toxic cleaning products between every stay to maintain a safe environment. My focus is always a calm, low-stress setting where each dog receives individual attention, structure and care.

A typical day includes potty breaks throughout the day, relaxed indoor time, enrichment activities such as puzzles or toys, and outdoor time when weather allows. Dogs also enjoy rest time throughout the day on couches, dog beds, or wherever they feel most comfortable. I incorporate play, affection, and calm downtime so each dog can settle into a routine that feels familiar and safe. Evenings include a neighborhood walk with plenty of snuggle time and wind-down routines before bedtime.
