I'm home-based, so I have lots of flexibility for walks and belly rubs. While there are play and yard breaks, days can be fairly quiet, at least until my kids get home! The dogs play together outside and we go on walks around the neighborhood, but the days are too slow for high-energy dogs. There's always a supply of pets, scratches, and snuggles available.

Safety, trust & environment
My yard has a three-foot fence, which is good for most pups, but can be cleared by strong jumpers. I can do crates, but they're not required as long as your pup is comfortable and not destructive. Dogs are allowed on furniture but not on beds. There may be up to 5 dogs at a time, including daycare visitors and my pup. I require a test night for new dogs booking stays of 5+ days to ensure that your dog fares well in this environment.

Information Betsy C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has quirks about walking on leash or encountering or playing with other dogs. We have lots of toys and chewies around, so it's good to know if your dog resource guards or has any particular things they love. Please let me know if your dog is a toy shredder so I can pick up the shreddable toys. Also, please give me a heads up if you're watching their weight or avoiding certain types of treats.
A typical day
I live in an active neighborhood with lots of foot traffic - both people and pups - to watch. Dogs may hang out inside or outside, depending on the weather and their preference. I am out with the dogs when they are in the yard. We will go for walks to some of the parks in the area, so there are lots of good smells and opportunities to explore.

Pet care experience
I'm a devoted dog lover and owner who wishes I could have a whole pack. I've cared for dogs since I was in elementary school, and am good with a variety of breeds and personalities. Shy and nervous pups are my specialty.
Reviews
Luna runs up the walk when we get to Betsey's gate. She is so excited to stay. No better recommendation than that.

Juno had a great time at Betsy's! She loved playing with the other dogs and Betsy's family. The fenced in yard gave a feeling of security, would definitely return!!! We loved getting updates and pictures from Betsy!!

Fozzie had a great time and got lots of snugs! :)

Betsy and her family took great care of Gabby for a weekend stay. Really appreciate her being able to do a meet and greet and then boarding on fairly short notice. We would not hesitate to board Gabby here again. Thank you!
