Hello, my name is Bethany! I am 28 years old and live in the Leland area. I have been around animals (specifically dogs) my whole life and am great with all breeds/sizes of dogs or cats. I have trained my own dog with basic commands and routines. I am familiar with training techniques for younger dogs or puppies. I consider myself outgoing, energetic and loving. Schedule
I currently freelance write, therefore I make my own schedule and am available whenever needed! I do try to avoid working later hours in the evening but would be willing to work with you depending on your pets needs.

I have a cat at home and will not be available for boarding, though I am open to going anywhere in Leland or Wilmington for dog walking or pet-sitting!

A typical day
I value mental stimulation for pets. My cat has a few of his own “treat boards” where he has to figure out how to get the treats out of certain compartments on the board. We do this daily. For dogs- their sense of smell is huge for mental stimulation so that could include new walking trails or allowing them to stop and sniff. Playing with toys (hiding the toy and/or treat and having them find it by scent), playing fetch, daily walks or trips to a local park are all ways I’d love to keep your pup active and mentally stimulated!
