A Home Away From Home For Your Pets
We’re a dog-loving household based who recently relocated to Ventura, we settled into a cozy ground-floor one-bedroom in a super walkable neighborhood near the college—perfect for easy strolls and outdoor time. Our pup Momo is now 4 years old, friendly, playful, and loves having new companions around. We have years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and we truly treat every pet like part of the family. I work remotely most of the week (in-office just 2 days), so your pet will have plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My husband and I share pet care responsibilities, which means flexible availability and consistent care every day of the week. We enjoy getting outside—whether it’s neighborhood walks, beach time, or weekend hikes—and we’re happy to include your dog in those adventures if it fits their routine and energy level. At home, we offer a safe, calm environment with lots of love, playtime, and structure. For care in your home, we’re attentive to your pet’s established routine and preferences, and can provide reliable visits throughout the day and week.

Bethany was a lifesaver! We needed last-minute care, and she responded right away and met with us quickly to make it happen. Rezzi instantly got along with her sweet pup, Momo, and I received daily photo updates that kept me at ease. Bethany works from home, has a small backyard for playtime, and made sure Rezzi got her daily walks. Rezzi came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I would definitely book with Bethany again!
Bethany and Sid did a wonderful job. We have a pit mix who isn't aggressive, but she loves to be dominant when other dogs are around. (Taking other dogs toys/spots/water) She got to meet her housemate Moe and they did reasonably well at first. By the 2nd or 3rd day, they were besties. Communication from Bethany was fantastic with plenty of photo updates along the way. Highly recommended

Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine. I work from home most of the week, so I’m around for regular walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. We build our daily schedule around making sure our guests get plenty of exercise, attention, and engagement. My husband and I share responsibilities, so your pet will have consistent care and companionship every day of the week.

Safety and trust are our top priorities. In our home, we provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of supervision, playtime, and rest. We take time to understand each pet’s personality, energy level, and needs so they feel comfortable and cared for. Walks are always on-leash, and we’re mindful of safe routes in our neighborhood. When caring for pets in a client’s home, we follow your routines and preferences closely—from feeding schedules to exercise, medications, and any special instructions. We’re respectful of your space and make sure your pet feels secure and relaxed in their familiar environment. Communication is key for us, so we’re happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

A typical day
A typical day is built around keeping your pet happy, active, and relaxed. We’re based in a walkable Ventura neighborhood near the college, so mornings usually start with a neighborhood walk or a trip to Camino Real Park for some fresh air and playtime. Throughout the day, we mix in walks, enrichment, and downtime depending on your pet’s energy level and routine. Since I work from home most of the week, your pet gets lots of attention, companionship, and supervised activity. We love getting outdoors—whether that’s hiking local trails or heading to the beach for some fun and exploration. We’re always mindful of safety on trails and in new environments, keeping pets leashed where appropriate and making sure they stay hydrated and comfortable.
