A typical day
If the dog is able and willing I love to provide walks for the dog. I think it is a great way to bond with a dog. I love playing fetch with dogs who love fetch, it is so much fun to see them excited to go get it and come back. If your dog is low energy and would just prefer to be brushed or chill out I don't mind that either. Cats~ Please tell me their favorite toy or game. If they aren't into play I would love to sit and brush them if they like it. For both cats and dogs I will provide a lot of love and pets if they are open to the affection.

Pet care experience
I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I have had dogs and/or cats my entire life. I love animals of all kinds, shapes and sizes. Animals are truly a joy to me. I lost my beloved Kami (shown in my profile picture) in 2019. She was a rescued Akita, but I feel she rescued me. She taught me a lot about loving and caring for a "difficult" dog. I have two cats, littermates my husband and I adopted as kittens in 2019. We adopted 2 dogs, one in 2022 and the other in 2023. They have taught me a lot about having multiple young dogs at the same time. My favorite thing to do with Kami was go for long walks or runs. We both loved being outside and would be out in all types of weather. We relocated to South Carolina in 2020 from a Chicago suburb so severe weather does not deter me. Kami required daily medication so I am comfortable dispensing medications if needed.
