Millenial dog-mom
As a child I grew up with a house full of pets from day one: 4 dogs at any time, a cat, birds, reptiles and more. I have always been around and loved animals. As an adult I have cared for my larger akita-husky mix as an elderly dog until she passed at 14 years old in 2024. I have raised my current soul-dog, Oaklyn, from puppyhood. I work from home so I often pet-sit for neighbors and friends including drop-in visits and walks with tiny puppies through elderly dogs.

I live in an accessible part of the city, so taking a quick drive out to homes in Midtown, Montrose, Downtown, or The Heights is as easy addition to my day. I am very protective over my own dog on walks as she can be a bit anxious so I always have her in a secure harness, do not approach strangers (humans or other dogs) on the street, and carry pepper spray for self defense. That said, I will follow whatever instructions you give me! I do not give dogs people food, but am always happy to give them any treats you set out for them. You will always have access to me for regular text and photo updates of your pets!

Bethany was an amazing sitter for my Jack Russel, Wiley. She has a dog park in her complex, which is perfect for introducing Wiley and her dog Oaklan. Oaklan played with Wiley and I think that helped him settle in. She kept me updated constantly with photos and messages and was comfortable giving Wiley an “as needed” medication when he presented symptoms. She’s in a great spot in North Charleston. Super glad that I found her and would absolute book with Bethany again.
Bethany is absolutely amazing with my dog. She treats him like her own, always giving him love and patience. My dog loves her and I know he is always in good hands when he is with her. Would definitely recommend Bethany to any pet owner because I know they will be in good hands!
Bethany is ALWAYS my first choice of who I want to watch our precious animals!! She loves our dogs like they are her own, and takes care of them like her own. She will take them on walks, will take them to the dog park, and always give them love and attention. She is very responsible and will send pictures even if we don’t ask. She is THE BEST!!

Schedule
I work from home and for myself, so I am in complete control of my schedule. I am always looking for an excuse to leave my desk and spend a little time outside.
