I work full time from home during the week and we are occasionally around at weekends for dog sitting and boarding. We have a big fenced garden and live near a beach and lots of countryside walks. I generally only accept dogs for day care if they’ve already stayed with us and Jane knows them.

I supervise the dogs when they’re together and can easily separate your dog (or Jane) if needed. They would always be fed separately. I am happy to discuss your requirements with you and can be flexible. I can generally only accept neutered male dogs if they’ve already stayed won’t pester Jane constantly as although she’s a neutered female she doesn’t like it when in-tact male dogs won’t leave her alone.

Information Bethany P. would like to know about your pet
If possible I would like to meet you and your dog in advance. I need to know about any medical issues, allergies, behavioural issues, dietary requirements (including anything you don’t want them to have) and it would also be helpful to understand your dog’s usual day and energy levels so we can understand if they are likely to fit into our lifestyle and home. I generally only accept dogs that are used to settling during the day, as I will generally be working full-time during the week whilst they’re with me.
A typical day
I work full time from home so the day time is usually quiet, but we have a beach, footpaths and nature reserve nearby so your dog will get two good walks per day. I can also let them out in the enclosed garden at regular intervals.

Hi. I’m Beth. I’m a solicitor and I live with my partner Will and our four year old Greek rescue Jane in Budleigh. I grew up with spaniels, and have previously owned and trained a Samoyed. We rescued Jane from Greece in July 2021 when we moved into our own home. I have a keen interest in dog training, and I use positive training methods only. Jane is a livestock guardian mix, and can be reactive to new people without careful greetings, but she loves other dogs as she grew up in a shelter and so we would love to welcome another dog into our home.

So thankful to have found Bethany and Will (and Jane!). This is my first time using Rover, and the whole experience has been so positive! We met for a walk to introduce ourselves (and the dogs), they got on famously, and Bethany was very experienced with dogs and rescue dogs, so I immediately felt comfortable that this would be a good match. We then arranged a trial night, which went really well, and we've just got back from a lovely relaxing week's holiday, and it looks like Alfie's had just as much fun! I would wholeheartedly recommend Bethany and will 100% be booking for Alfie to stay with her again!
Bethany took absolutely amazing care of our PWD Davy for 12 days. He settled in straight away and became best friends with her lovely dog, Jane – he’s genuinely missing them now that he’s home. We felt completely at ease while we were away. Beth kept us updated, sent photos and videos, and it was clear Davy was happy, relaxed, and really well looked after. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We would 100% trust her with Davy again. Highly recommend!
