Hello, all! My name is Bethany, and I'm a recent college graduate and current substitute teacher wanting to care for your pets. I've had dogs all my life and currently have two with my family--A Golden Retriever x Brittany mix and a Cocker Spaniel, both rescues. I've cared for pets my whole life in some form, and I've been a Rover sitter for four years and counting. Whether it's your first time using Rover or you're an expert, I'd love to work with you and your pets! As a substitute teacher, I’m currently out of school and looking to do Rover before the school-year starts back, so if you’re looking for someone to care for your fur babies while you’re away, please feel free to reach out. I’m flexible on dates and times and hope to offer a premium service for your family. My primary services are house-sitting and drop-ins. Drop-ins are 30 minutes in which I check on your pet(s) in your home and provide them whatever care and attention they need, including food, water, outside time, litter box cleaning, and more. House-sitting includes overnight stays and drop-ins throughout the day. With house-sitting, I do stay overnight but am in and out throughout the day. If your pets need 24/7 care, there will be an extra charge. If you have any questions about my services, rates, or anything else, don't hesitate to contact me!

Safety, trust & environment
While in your home, I use the Rover cards to send updates on how your pet is and what care they get while I'm there with them. This includes pictures, details on care and play, and anything else you request. I strive to give your pets the care they need and you the peace of mind that your home and pets are taken care of. My rates are reflected on my profile, but please note my hours: +$5 for each visit out of my regular service times (8 AM to 9 PM). I cannot work between the hours of 10:30 PM and 7:00 AM. If you need more than 2 visits daily for your pets and live further than is convenient, I may offer you consider my house-sitting services.

Bethany is extremely responsible and knowledgable about dogs. She was attentive to the needs of my two dogs (a golden retriever/lab mix & a sharpei/beagle mix). I especially appreciated her communication while I was away ~ both with updates and with a couple questions (to me, the questions meant she really cared). I had confidence my dogs were in good hands ~ allowing me to truly enjoy my time away. I came home to a clean home and HAPPY dogs. Bethany is fantastic! One of our dogs work up with a uti and she got her to take her pill. The same dog has a history of food striking when we leave and Bethany stuck with it and got her to eat!

Schedule
I have reliable transportation and don't bite off more than I can chew so your pet can get the focused care they deserve. I do, however, get many bookings over the course of a week and ask for flexibility for my arrival times with your pets as sometimes times conflict or run close to each other.
